Gait belts are often recommended to help caregivers transfer patients or keep them steady as they walk. Lifting is easier and more secure when a gait belt is used than when pulling a person up from under the arms or by the belt loops. The Quick Release Gait Belt has a sturdy plastic buckle that latches securely, but is easy to put on and take off.

Nice well made gait belt, Only need to adjust it to fit once, so long as you are using it for the same person, Navy color goes with everything and does not show dirt.

This is great!So much better than the pastel ones that are a pain-in-the-neck to thread that they use in the convalescent home where my uncle was. I borrowed theirs a few times, but he hated the girly pastel colors, which drew attention to his inability to walk without assistance and he and I both hated the threading process. This one looks more normal with his clothing and the seatbelt design is much easier to use! Thread once and it is all set!
