Excellent!!! Pam Bono scores again!!!,

This review is from: More Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts (For the Love of Quilting) (Paperback)
Whenever I buy a quilting book (which isn't very often because many of them are more of the same patterns) I look for the name Pam Bono. Her designs are unique. The instructions are clear and if they are followed, end with a quilt that can be displayed with pride. The blocks use enough variation in technique and color that I am never bored while I am piecing. Thank-you so much for sharing your gift!

Distinctive & clear,

More Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts has several quilts that are distinctive & wonderful to looks at - you will find very few of these patterns in other quilt books. There are sheep quilts, frogs, dinosaurs, butterflies, teapots and hot air balloons as well as more traditional blocks like around the world & the pinwheel. The pictures of the sample quilts are clear & detailed. The cutting and assembly instructions are clear & accurate as well. I would recommend this for any quilter, beginner through advanced, who is inspired by quilts with bright colors, or by non-traditional blocks.

I bought this book, More Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts (For the Love of Quilting), as well as Big Book of Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts by Pam Bono. I was surprised and disappointed to see the same patterns in both books, just a new front and title. The only difference is the Big Book of Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts has more patterns and more pages. I won't be buying any more quilting books off the internet unless I can see a content page.

I am still upset so take my review in stride.
I bought "Big Book of Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts" by Pam Bono, several years ago and loved the quilts and well written instructions. When I saw "More Quick Rotary Quilts" I was excited and ordered right away. It is the EXACT same quilts, from the first book, minus the BEST quilts. Even the cover quilt is featured in the first book.

This book was great for the price. I am a relatively new quilter. This gives you a few techiques, some patterns and some of the basics which is great if you are just getting started and doing it on your own. Great book.

As usual Pam Bono has some great designs in this book. Chains of Love is a favorite and I will probably do many more. Her methods are basic but her designs are intricate enough to make them fun projects.
