Product Description

From the Manufacturer

A pop-up spray unit just like the contractors install. Only you don't have to trench the lawn or pay for buried plumbing. They stay safely buried in place until needed. You can mow right over it. Just snap your hose on to the swiveling quick-connect and water pressure pushes the riser up 4 inches above the ground. Dial in the spray pattern you want by turning the selector on top. You choose: 4-foot x 30-foot, 4-foot x 15-foot, or 9-foot x 18-foot. Plant the Spray unit along one side of the pattern and it sends out a fine mist spray to cover the area completely. When you turn off the water, the riser drops back below ground where it stays ready till next time. You can use a garden trowel to dig a 4 inch hole, 7 inches deep. That's it: set it, plant it, point it, forget it. No assembly required. Just pull it out of the box and stick it in the hole. Plant them right next to drives or sidewalks, in flower bedsanywhere, really. The swiveling hose connect makes it easy to snap on the hose from any direction. Instructions are included and they are very simple. Your buried spray system will be operational in mere minutes. This is an industrial strength spray that will give you years of faithful service. Depending on your water pressure, you can string two or more Quick-Snaps off the same hose line; you can add a timer at the faucet. And, since the spray settings don't shift, you can be sure that when you send the kids out to water the lawn the water will go right where you set it. These units can be removed and taken with you to the new house when you move or reset when landscaping matures. Worried about winter freeze damage in your area? You may want to order a Quick-Snap Air Purge. It blows out the water with an ordinary bicycle pump. Each spray comes with its own quick-connect for your hose and a bright orange cap to help find the unit when the grass grows long, lush and green.

Product Description

A gear-driven rotating sprinkler just like the contractors install. Only you don't have to trench the lawn or pay for buried plumbing. It stays safely buried in place until needed. You can mow right over it. Just snap your hose on to the swiveling quick-connect and water pressure pushes the riser up 5 inches above the ground. A powerful stream throws water 17 to 40 feet at 2.5 gallons per minute. You set the rotation from 40-360 degrees. Both settings are right on top and easy to make while the unit is on or off. Most front lawns can be completely watered with just two, each in an opposite corner. When you turn off the water, the riser drops back below ground where it stays ready till next time. You can use a garden trowel to dig a 4 inch hole, 9 inches deep. That's it: plant it, point it, set it, forget it. No assembly required. Just pull it out of the box and stick it in the hole. Plant them right next to drives or sidewalks, in flower beds anywhere, really. Corners are good spots. The swiveling hose connect makes it easy to snap on the hose from any direction. Instructions are included and they are very simple. This is an industrial strength sprinkler that will give years of faithful service. Depending on your water pressure, you can string two or more Quick-Snaps off the same hose line; you can add a timer at the faucet. These units can be removed and taken with you to the new house when you move or reset when landscaping matures. Without the hassle of buried pipes you can even tilt them in the ground to get just the spray angle you want. Worried about winter freeze damage in your area? You may want to order a Quick-Snap Air Purge. It blows out the water with an ordinary bicycle pump. Each sprinkler comes with its own hose quick-connect and a bright orange cap to help find the unit when the grass grows long, lush and green.

Exactly what I needed for the flower bed, puts out a rectangular spray in a confined area, it really works great instead of a sprinkler.
Michael Cekosky
This sprinkler leaks at every pipe connection and elbow joint, pouring water into the soil if installed as directed.

Some of the reviews of this product have mentioned that this product does not cover enough area to water their lawn. That is because this product is the sprayer that is used for flower beds and gardens. If you want something that shoots a long range and covers a lot of area then you need to order the quick snap sprinkler which is linked below. I ordered 3 of the sprinklers and each one shoots out approx 40 feet in distance and can be set at different angles for different yards. The attached link is the sprinkler product that you should buy if you want a lot of area of coverage.Quick-Snap In-Ground 5-Inch Pop-Up Adjustable Sprinkler With Quick Hose Connector, QSK-741

I now have used this product for one season and it has exceeded my expectations and saved me thousands of dollars as I was considering an installed irrigation system for my property before a friend recommended the Quick-Snap product. I have one acre of yard: flower beds and lawn. By strategicly placing the Qucik-Snap units I covered the relevant areas for less than two hundred dollars with the same result that a five thousand dollar system would have provided! Two hundred dollars against five thousand was , as they say, a no brainer. Installation took me all of fifteen minutes per unit. Installation is so easy a child could accomplish it with no problem. Quick-Snap is a quality product and a great value. My hats off to Quick-Snap!

This sprinkler leaks like crazy! All of the joints leaked and most of the water went into the hole it was sitting in. I tried tightening all the joints and even checked to make sure all the joints had those rubber washers and nothing helped. I told the manufacturer about the issues but they were no help. I would put these sprinklers in the same category as that as seen on tv junk.

I ordered this in June 2012. The return time has expired. And so I am tossing money into the garbage bin since the section with the "quick snap" attachment popped off from the rest of the sprinkler while it was in the ground while I was sprinkling the backyard. It does not fit back into the plastic pipe without popping out again. Purchase the Watering Made Easy sprinkler instead. I haven't had a problem with those yet, they just need a bit more space in the ground than these do.

I own three of these products. As a test I purchased one and used it for a year before buying any additional sprinklers or sprayers. I have zero complaints. If installed properly this product will meet and exceed expectations. Its a great time saver and is barely noticeable in the lawn.

Ordered one as a test run before I order the rotors. I used plumbers tape based on feedback, hooked up the hose and it popped up and sprayed. Just ONE HUGE problem, there is NO WAY, at least that I can figure out and I am huge DIYer, to adjust the head! The triangle arrow is on 4 x 15. I even took it apart and to no avail.

I had an irrigation system at our old house and the one we just bought does not have one. Not too inclined to spend $4,000 AND $200/year to winterize and back flow test.

The item is very similar to my old system in terms of quality, about one step down, which IMHO is not bad for the trade-off of the cost vs. a system professionally installed.

I emailed the company and waiting to hear back. Can anyone help?

Once I can figure out, I will update this review however for the time being it is a one star.

Never heard back from company. Will be shipping back to Amazon and based on poor company response/product will not be purchasing rotor type heads. Will be using pulsating sprinklers with less hassle and money.
