4.0 out of 5 stars great investment, January 18, 2007
This review is from: Quick Spanish for Law Enforcement: Essentiial Words and Phrases for Ploice Officers and Law Enforcement Professionals (Quick Spanish Series) (Paperback)
Quick Spanish for Law Enforcement was one of the best books I have ever bought. I recomend it for any law enforcement professional who is looking for some basic skills in the spanish language. Not only is the book a good tool to carry in the squad car, but it would also be a good investment for a department to keep a few copies just in case. The book even has start to finish investigation questions for crime scenses such as burglary, assault, rape etc. However, I had to give the book only 4 stars, because I needed a chapter devoted to the booking process for a correctional setting, but I still will continue to use the book as a basic reference. This is a very good reference book. It is much better than carrying around an entire dictionary filled with words you won't use. There is a very good section about real life scenarios. Very in depth coverage of words that are also written phonetically
