1. Transfer data from Peachtree 2009-2011; Microsoft SBA 2006; and Microsoft Office Accounting 2007–2009 using free tool available at http://quickbooks.intuit.com. Transfer data directly from Quicken 2012-2014, QuickBooks 4.0-2014 and Microsoft Excel 2003–2010, as well as web mail services such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail.
2. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll give you your money back. Simply return the product to Intuit with a dated receipt within 60 days for a full refund of the purchase price.

This is an awful awful program. I am trying to help a 72 year old former accountant do her treasurer job and this program never saves with the correct info. You have to fudge everything and put made up stuff like unknown vendor into every field just to get it to save. Most times it doesn't save it says some random thing like customer and vendor must match, then when you try to save after making the changes it will say customer is not a vendor or some other random thing that makes no sense. Her info is already done and is correct because she is an accountant but Quickbooks wont let us save the correct info. It gives these crazy errors and no indictaion of how to fix them just to get it to save.

Previously there was an accountant firm and a bookkeeper who gave up and quit because of this BS program. Also there is only 1 book out there for this program. Its helpful but only to a point.

We have used QuickBooks 2011 nonprofit for several years and loved it. However, this new 2014 edition continues to freeze our computer when doing just basic things. Our computer should have handled the new version just fine but obviously there are bugs that need to be fixed. I will be contacting them to see if we can get a refund or perhaps a credit to try a different product.

Still on the learning curve. Looks good but not perfect. Non profits usually have members not customers. Other terminology is profit based and seldon used in 501c land.

This product requires a lot more knowledge of quickbooks than a novice can handle. It is not out of the box ready. It still requires many tweaks to make it actually work for your non profit. Also you will still need some additional product to keep track of all your donor information. If I ever get it set up I think it will be helpful for my non profit. I am still trying to figure out exactly how to get it all set up.

I haven't used all of the sections yet but so far so good. My only challenge was that the installation CD sent with this purchase did not work. Intuit support however helped me to download the software over the interenet. They were very helpful.

Our non-profit organization has been using QB 2004 for a very very long time. QB 2014 clearly is a great choice especially since we are a nonprofit organization. I can't tell you much about the nonprofit part since we have just started using it with the arrival of a new computer (also 1st in 10 years). I'll be glad to provide an update after we have used it for a month or so. But, initial review is wow!!

I can't use Quickbooks 2014 on my computer, a Windows 7 with a 1.6 Ghz processor. I called Intuit and the technician realized that my processor speed was not adequate. QB 2014 requires 2.4 G processor speed. There are no returns. All is not lost, as my laptop is nearing six years old, so I will likely upgrade next year. I'll wait until Windows 10 and Intel's new Broadwell processor is available for purchase. Might go to the library and use their broadband connection to do the download, as it took over an hour and a half to download via DSL. I'm currently using Quickbooks Premier Nonprofit 2013.

I've given the product one star reluctantly, as I've used Quickbooks for a long time, and find it does a good job for me. The one star is so that potential purchasers check their processor speed before downloading. For Windows users, you check by going to the start button, control panel, and then system for see what your computer has.

For non-profits having the setup for donations and that type of tracking really makes the accounting process easier. I'm treasurer for five organizations, three 501c3s, a 501c4, and one that would be a 501c12 if we weren't grandfathered in. Quickbooks really makes generating reports for potential donors and boards easy.

One personal comment, if you are new to Quickbooks and don't have an accounting firm with non-profit experience or a very experienced QB user to help you, take the time to get some training before setting up accounts, especially for non-profit use. I purchased QB NP 2014, because I'm setting up a new file for a local 501c3, and although they've had Quickbooks for a long time, the treasurer did not know how to use the enter bills, enter invoices, and class functions to make accounting easier.
