Glitches galore + TERRIBLE customer service!!!,

After upgrading to QB Pro 2007 we found certain sections to be completely unusable & would lock up our system when we tried to use them.
Over the course of almost two weeks we repeatedly tried to contact support. The first time we called a tech walked us through a couple of things over the course of about 45 minutes before we got cut off. When we called back there was no record of us calling and no case#. After speaking with someone in India for nearly an hour and a half he said we would have to call back in a few days. I told him that was unacceptable and that I needed to speak with a manager. He put me on hold for 10 minutes and then came back & told me all the managers were on break and that I would have to call back later. He then refused to give me his name. After several minutes he finally told me in his thick accent that I could just call him Carl. I then had to practically beg him to create a case#. He gave me one but there was no record of it when I called back. A couple of days later I called back & spoke with Ruel. After going through all them same runaround I had been through twice already he told me he needed to check on a few things and that he would call me back in an hour. I never heard from him. A few days after that it was Manish. He told me he could not access any data at that time and that he would call back the next day at 10:30am. I never heard from him. I then called the next day and asked to speak to a manager. The person put me on hold for 22 minutes before I ended up with a dial tone. The next day it was the same thing accept this time I waited for 26 minutes before I got a dial tone. I have tried to go to their website & complain but there is no place to do so. We are now actively looking for another solution besides Quickbooks for our accounting and do not plan to use Quickbooks any longer.

QB Is Not Listening To Their Customers,

1) Quickbooks failed to respond in a timely manner to the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 release which was pushed out by MS as a critical update. Instead of developing fixes for QBs off of the beta readily available on MS's home page for over 6 months, they waited to notify customers to not take MS's Critical update until AFTER MS released IE 7 as critical. Way to go developers. A day late and a dollar short.
2) This version of QB like it's predecessors for the last 4 years has grown slower to open and operate. The enhanced functionality again is dismal of that of the 2006 release. Do the QB developers really work on anything? Hmmm I'm beginning to wonder. 3) The inherent bugs that I've documented and demonstrated to QB tech support still are not fixed. Even thought the tech support folks out QBs acknowledge the bugs as legitimate bugs and not oppinions about how the software should work. QB instead tried to make their product look pretty and made it slower in the process. 4) QB didn't really answer MS's new Small Business Accounting Package with new innovations. Overall...the 2007 Pro version...is like every other QB. Slower ever year, no real exciting features added, no bugs fixed that we repeatedly report every year and have for 3 years.

Big problems getting this thing to load. QB should have known and adivsed us. Required changing many buried settings in XP Pro and Home.
Slows down system in multi-user mode. Would I do it again knowing all this...50-50. Many graphic changes that don't change what you do or how it does it, just where you find it and how it looks on the screen, so you'll have to re-learn a little bit the first few times in. I've always liked and recommended QB, it's still a great system, but the 2007 upgrade may NOT be worth it. I bought only for the 3 user multi-user option and got the 07 upgrade with it. The presentation of customers or vendors is better and you see more on the screen without buried clicks, but it appears the graphical interface changes are more designed to get a dummy in to the system rather than enhance it for a seasoned user.
