I've been using Quickbooks for more than a dozen years and it does a fine job for a small business. But I hate that they force me to upgrade every 3 years and then make me call to activate. It's bad enough that the "upgrade" has minimal improvements, so just take my money and give me the dang validation code without hassle. And on this upgrade I had to call Tech Support because I couldn't access the QB files across the network. So after 6 long hours I can now get back to business. Thanks for nothing Quickbooks.

This was an upgrade from QB Pro 2006 for us. Difficult for IT Dept. to install and we are continuing to have many access problems since then.

We bought a laptop with Vista on it... had to upgrade from QB2006 to QB2009 - no problem with a 3 year upgrade but no real new features to speak of (let's face it financial software is a double index spread sheet). Long story short - new laptop imploded & we replaced it with Win 7 installed. Re-installed the software including QB2009 - life is good. Been running QB2009 for 6 months. Last week QB2009 began crashing on startup, we did not change anything - must have taken a pushed upgrade from either Microsoft or Intuit (no viruses, system running OK). Intuit tech support (an oxymoron) - "QB2009 is not supported on the 'Win 7 platform'"... period. But we will sell you QB2010... for more than you can buy it on Amazon! Customer loyalty! With debugging hour cost now exceeding software cost - I bent. As soon as I have time to consider other financial software I will. Buy Intuit stock now!

I bought this to update my current 3 user installation of QB 2006 on a Windows AD network that I support. It was simple. I installed it on 2 xp machines and 1 vista business machine. I then converted the company file which was located on the server and ran the QB server manager. It all was done in less than 3 hours and there have been no problems.

Product shipped and received as promised but the software package was crushed because the product was shipped in an envelope instead of a box and appeared to be from a relative.

This is a fantastic product and thru Amazon we were able to purchase this product cheaper than going thru the mfg or at any local office supply store.
