Just purchased this product and installed the multi-user version on three computers. When the multi-user function did not work, a call to someone in the Phillipines resulted in being informed that the purchase of multi-user programs require a support program costing $60! Why does the updated program developers assume there will be problems? We purchased a program in good faith that the components would work and do not appreciate being charged for bugs in the program (Tier one person could not solve problem; had to pass on to tier 2, all of an hour worth of calling to get the program to access multi user)! We were forced to update due to expiration of merchant services and now forced to pay hidden charges - very unacceptable!!!

Forget about talking to anyone with a brain if you ever have a problem with your payroll or QB. The ladies in the Philippines just repeat what you tell them the problem is and have limited ability to solve your problem. Ostensibly Intuit does not care about their customers running their businesses or they would have better customer service and expanded hours so that us business owners would not have to be on the phone with issues that take more than one hour to solve during working hours. Look for an alternative.

We have been using QuickBooks pro for 14 years. We just upgraded from 2010 to 2013 and so far, I am very disappointed. The look and feel is different, but it's more the preference changes that are bothersome. We used to be able to print all of our invoices, but somehow, all of our clients got defaulted to "email" as a preferred send method and it has to be manually switched for each client. "timesheets" a commonly used function is not among the shortcuts you can choose to make working more efficient. Creating multiple clients is also more cumbersome as you used to be able to choose "next" but now you have to save one client and go back in to choose to add another client. Those seconds add up. Not lastly, but additionally, you can no longer choose the background colors in this version. Intuit decided on a drab gray dashboard and that is what you are stuck with. If I wasn't told that earlier versions of QB would no longer support our payroll, I would revert back in a second.

We had to purchase Quickbooks 2013 because intuit would not support our payroll anymore if we did not. When I went to buy from INTUIT the cost was $649.00 Amazon had the exact same for $379.00 I called INTUIT to tell them how much cheaper it was on Amazon.com and they said wait, I will talk to my supervisor and see what we can do! They came down to $599. They also said that sometime you get a knockoff that is not the real thing!!!! Can you imagine?

Needless to say, we purchased from Amazon and we are extremely happy with the product.

2013 is the worst - nothng but problems with refreshing client's older versions, can't change the background color, icons on the tool bar sometime show up and sometimes don't - this is the worst upgrade ever.

I have windows 8 on my new machines. I believe win 8 came out before QB 2013 yet when I received it I found out that it doesn't work with win 8 yet and they are working on a fix. I have been waiting for 3 weeks.

Am disappointed with 2013. Used 2008 and 2010, and pleased with the performance.
Lost features with 2013 and it is blamed on Windows 7. 2013 was sopposed to be Winsows7
compatible. Perhaps, I just bought 2013 too quickly. Normally wait until the
program has been out for a year or so to allow time to "get the bugs out."

Price through amazon better than through Intuit, only Costco had a slightly better deal, if you wanted to add a support plan.
2013 has some changes I don't like but as Intuit forces you to "upgrade" ever 3 years or lose your payroll function, I had no choice.
