5.0 out of 5 stars Simple to understand and apply June 14, 2007
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This book really helped me to understand QuickBooks Simple Start much better than I expected. You really need this book, if you have Simple Start. Everything is explained in a clear manner and it's very easy to understand the program. If you are stuck, I suggest you buy the book. It will come in handy for any problem you may be having or may have in the future.

3.0 out of 5 stars Complete, but as complicated as the software January 22, 2009
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Ok I wanted to get the Cliff Notes version about the software, and this book was just as wordy as the software...so I added to my library of "dummies" books and got frustrated reading it. It was ok if you want to make lots of post it notes sticking out....why must it all be so complicated. It seems well written but not really much shortcuts to getto know the software.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not a bookkeeping book but a good one! April 16, 2009
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I got this book and realized I needed bookkeeping for dummies which I then purchased. I didn't know anything about a chart of accounts or depreciation. I will come back to it after I get a better handle on the accounting stuff. It seems like it will be helpful once I have QuickBooks set up. I would recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Out of date August 1, 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
2004!!! Need's revision. Does not apply to present Quickbooks online.
Therefore it doesn't deserve the right to sell the title name.
2004 is like 20 years ago in today's technology.

If you want a book on accounting, buy a book on accounting.
This has nothing to do with Quickbooks online. And the more I am grasping
the concept, "online" is the way Quickbooks is trying to transform into.
Just my two cents.

Don't buy it unless you are trying to buy mine that I'm trying to sell used.
