5.0 out of 5 stars A back saver!
Love the quick zip sheets and the matteress pad. I have been using the set for the last two years with my son. He has never tried to unzip the sheets and has not tried to suck on the fabric that goes over the zipper. I can't imagine using traditional sheets as often as I have to change the sheet on the crib.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't dry at all!
I really liked this at first but after a couple times in the dryer on low (recommended on the package), it was ruined. The backing welds together in the dryer (I'm guess from the heat), and won't come apart for anything. Therefore it won't lay flat, making it useless.

I ordered another one and air dry it instead. That works, but I wish I didn't have to waste...

1.0 out of 5 stars Mattress Pad RUINED after one drying on low - not waterproof anyway, September 13, 2010
This review is from: QuickZip Crib Mattress Pad - White (Baby Product)
As another poster warned, the mattress pad (which is NOT supposed to zip to anything, by the way - it just lies under the sheet) is not worth the money you or those who want to give you a gift will spend on it.

When I first opened the package I noticed that the backing of the mattress pad, a thin, woven, plastic-like material, was somewhat stuck to itself. I did my best to pull it apart so it would lay flat. We tried the sheet set and mattress pad on our Serta for LaJobi crib mattress and were satisfied with the fit, so I washed the sheets and pad according to the directions. The directions on the pad say "tumble dry low" so I did.

The pad was absolutely RUINED. The backing is now so stuck to itself in the same area as before that the whole pad has buckled and will not lay flat.

I believe this pad is a waste of money not just because of the poor material of the backing, but because I highly doubt the pad has any waterproof or even absorbing abilities at all. Save yourself some money and get some large waterproof lap/burp pads to place under the sheets instead. SO SO disappointed in the mattress pad (very happy with the sheet set, however - once you figure it out, it's SO easy to use.)

1.0 out of 5 stars Love the Sheets -- HATE the Mattress Pad!, March 23, 2011

This review is from: QuickZip Crib Mattress Pad - White (Baby Product)
I have several sets of the quick-zip sheets, and I love them. They are absolutely amazing. I use them on both my 3 yr old's toddler bed and my 10 month old's crib. SO, I purchased the mattress pads thinking that if the sheets were so amazing, then the mattress pads had to be somewhat decent. I was WRONG! The mattress pads have not held up at all. I purchased 2 mattress pads. On the first wash, one of the mattress pads scrunched up (Yes, I followed the care instructions!). Now, it does not even come close to laying flat, and it covers about half of the entire bed since it is so scrunched up. The second mattress pad has fared a little better, but not much. After 2 or 3 washes, it started to scrunch up as well. It is not as scrunched as the first mattress pad, but still not decent. Both mattress pads need replaced with not much use. I will be searching for another flat mattress pad (the fitted ones do not work well with the convenience of the quick-zip sheet set). I am very disappointed with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars great invention, May 19, 2009

instead of struggling with a crib mattress each week, just zip these sheets on and off! Put a waterproof pad underneath, and you are good to go! I've used them for both kids and give them as shower presents - they are really worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wish I had two!!!, November 29, 2011
This review is from: QuickZip Crib Mattress Pad - White (Baby Product)
I got the matress pad in a set as a gift. It was from Clouds and Stars.com (don't know if that makes a difference). The plastic on the back is thin, but has never leaked. We have had many wet diapers, etc., even one soak without a diaper at all, and no leak! Maybe the other reviewer had a tear in hers??? Also, it has held up wonderful in the dryer. I wash and dry it with all other clothes on regular wash and dry it on medium heat(not even sure what the instructions say). I just toss it in. It has never stuck to itself and always comes out completely dry, just like new! The plastic isn't tearing or cracking. (I do have a cool down cycle on my dryer which may help?). I wash it about once a week to keep things fresh. My son is 10mths and it's like new. The only thing I noticed is that after the first or second wash it shrunk just a little, but that may be because I dry everything on medium heat. It still fits the entire length and width of the matress though.

I would recommend the entire quickzip line to anyone. But if you're going to have the quickzip sheets, this product is a must! If you don't order from Amazon, then order it from CloudsandStars.com. Mine is fantastic!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not sure where the "Zip" comes in, July 9, 2011

For some reason, I was expecting this to zip (QuickZip) or have some other method of sticking to the bed, which it does not have. But it is an okay mattress pad and stays in place pretty well under a fitted sheet.

We bought a waterproof mattress... realized this mattress pad isn't really necessary. The mattress wipes up fine and so this pad isn't really worth it. Check your mattress first!

These sheets seemed like a great idea. However, the flap that covers the zip gets all wrinkled when you wash them so it doesn't lie flat over the plastic zipper (and I just don't have time to iron baby sheets). I was afraid that my son would either scratch himself on the zipper or smother himself in the fabric flap that sticks up. Granted, I might be a little over-cautious, but I still have never used the sheets. They also get really wrinkled when you wash them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointed., August 16, 2009

Not clear on what it was I was getting.I guess I thought it had a bottom piece to attach it to. Came in but there is nothing to zip it to. Its just an expensive flat pad. Very dissapointed, I gave it one star because you couldn't give it less. I should have sent it back, next time I will just go to Target.
