Wouldn't want to be without these sheets!

I can't even imagine life with a baby without these sheets. They are so easy to use. You never have to remove the mattress or bumper pads to change these sheets (unless you are washing the bottom part). There were so many nights that my daughter leaked through her diaper and all I had to do was unzip the sheet and change it. It literally takes less than a minute to change the sheet. You should use a flat mattress pad under these instead of a fitted one that wraps under the mattress. I have had them almost two years and am still using the same three top sheets. They are quite durable.

Eh, great idea, but not worth the high cost when traditional sheets can be used just as handily

The idea behind these is innovative, and creative. I like it, except that there is a much better and cheaper way to accomplish the same reduction in middle-of-the-night sheet changes. We bought regular crib sheets for less than half the price of this thing, along with some waterproof (more like water resistant) mattress covers, as well. You just put a waterproof cover on, then a sheet, then another waterproof cover, then another sheet. In the middle of the night, if a change is needed, you just remove that top sheet and waterproof layer to get down to your clean layer. No putting new sheets on, not even trying to finagle with a zipper in your zombie-like state. Just whip it off, put baby back down, and ta-da!

Secondly, I'd like to note that there is an added INconvenience with this particular product. Should baby spit-up on or wet the bed, and the spit-up or other mess makes it onto the fabric of the piece you're supposed to leave on, now you have to actually pick up the mattress entirely just to remove that thing, since it wraps around the bottom of the mattress. And now you have no base on which to zip your new sheet, having to resort to regular crib sheets anyway. In this case, it actually created more work than traditional sheets. And don't think your baby won't get mess on the edges, sides, and even bottom (yes, bottom) of your crib mattress. There's no such thing as a baby who spits-up or has a diaper explosion as neatly as they possibly can.

Where have these sheets been all my life?

These sheets are amazing. With my first son, he had a traditional type of crib with slats all around. Since it's a proven fact that changing crib sheets is a huge pain, I had used the Ultimate Crib sheet with him, and thought it was great. With son #2, we got him a crib that has a solid wood back, and slats only on three sides, so the Ultimate Crib Sheet had nothing to snap to along the back. It was probably a safety hazard, in fact. Then I found these sheets, and they changed my crib-sheet-changing life. I bought the starter set and one extra top sheet, which is plenty. At first I was annoyed at myself because I bought my spare in a different color, but once I got them on the crib, it looks fine because you can see the bottom fitted part, and then you see the bumpers, and when you look inside the crib you can't see the bottom fitted part anyway. It is important that you get your starter set in a color that will look good in the room, since you definitely see it! My only continuing problem with this type of crib is how do I get the back of the bumper to stay upright with no slats to tie on to?

Essential time saver

I bought this during a week that my daughter seems to have outgrown her nighttime diapers because we were having accidents EVERY NIGHT! I was changing sheets and mattress pads every day. It was such a pain to lift the mattress out each time especially because I was 9 months pregnant!

I bought this along with the "Waterproof Crib and Toddler Bed Pad 27 x 50 - 2 Pack" here on Amazon. Now if we have an accident, I can quickly change the sheet and pad without lifting the mattress out.

The only minor complaint I would have is that the sheet is a little stiff/rough but my daughter doesn't seem to mind :)

Also, this idea would be perfect if the sheet had a built in waterproof/absorbent backing so I wouldn't have had to purchase the additional pad and add an extra step in the changing process.

Overall, I will be buying more of the removable top sheets in the future!

BEST SHEETS EVER!!!

I don't know why these are not on every mom's top wish list or registry...but they should be!!! I know they are on the pricey side - but for me they have been worth every penny!
1.They hold up extremely well to multiple washings. (I've had mine for over a year and have used them daily)
2. Easiest bedding changes EVER ....When my little one was first born these were great to be able to change bedding one-handed (which sometimes needs to happen), and really beats taking the entire mattress out of the crib to get the other sheets on the right way. Later when my little one was several months old, I started layering the sheets (don't do this too early on as it could increase the risk of SIDS to have super soft bedding) , I would put this one down first then a water-proof mat, then a normal sheet (a pain in the butt - but I had them so whatever) and now if she does have an accident I just pull a layer off and poof - bed is made or zip and bed is done in half a second.
3.. SUPER safe!! ... Even if you are a big fan of the easiest bedding changes ever, consider that this is also super safe for your newborn ... if you read all that research on SIDS they tell you not to use excess bedding or mattress pads and if you use one to find one that goes all the way around the mattress, which this does, so it's super safe!
