5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD STUFF
I always upgrade Quickens because it is one of the most useful software that I own. It is great, but I always feel that I am missing something. I always find the answers in this guide. It is written in layman terms, and it guides you with all the steps. It is well worth the money.

3.0 out of 5 stars This book adds nothing to what is already in Quicken on Line
Every thing in this book can be found in the program itself.
It might help those who are uncomfortable with windows programs or clicking the mouse. It might also help those who prefer reading instructions in a book rather than on the computer screen.
I was expecting some indications on how to build a Chart of Accounts that would add something to Quicken Reports...

Every thing in this book can be found in the program itself.
It might help those who are uncomfortable with windows programs or clicking the mouse. It might also help those who prefer reading instructions in a book rather than on the computer screen.
I was expecting some indications on how to build a Chart of Accounts that would add something to Quicken Reports. I searched also in vain for an indication on wether the Income Statement would include "unrealized income" and many other items that could not be found.
It is clear, well written, very well illustrated but only for beginners.

1.0 out of 5 stars a tree died for this?, January 5, 2003

sadly this book is highly recommended by many sources. however, it has not been useful at all to help me set up my accounts or explain the capabilites of Quicken 2002. i've had to rely on myself to figure out how to get my accounts set up to where i understand them & to figure out the software features. i expected the book to offer detailed definitions of terms used in the program and 'how-to' examples.
