Product Description

Clean more floor, more quickly, with this 11-inch wide sponge made especially for the professional cleaner. Featuring Super Cell Sponge technology – a dual layered cellulose sponge for maximum absorbency. The durability of cellulose provides deeper cleaning on hard flooring surfaces. Cellulose absorbs more water off the floor with less mop passes so floors dry faster! The patented built-in front scrubber helps remove scuff marks and stubborn stains. Once you are done, you’ll love our patented butterfly squeezing action designed with oversized nylon rollers which reduce hand fatigue during wringing.

I would give this a zero if the grading system was not a product bias system.

Every time I need a refill, I have to buy a new mop - because they make it impossible to change the sponge.

Soon thereafter the plastic nut holding the sponge to the steel mop base broke off.

I feel fooled by the pictures and description of this mop. I have been looking for a well built mop that holds the sponge properly and this mop does not deliver.

Instead of a solid threaded wing-nut design on the mop head to mount the sponge, I realized this mop has been built as cheaply as the rest. The plastic nubs connect via plastic nuts which lock in place with a quarter turn. Under normal mopping these cheap nuts rotate and release leaving the mop sponge flopping loose. Manufacturer saved cents and built a disappointing mop as a result.

Local supermarkets and pharmacies seem to carry this particular mop quite a bit, which is where I got mine over two years ago. If you're value conscious, I suggest that you start locally. The Amazon price is significantly higher than what I paid.

This mop has given me about 30 months of service without a hitch. It cleans well and the section for scraping crud off the floor is helpful on occasion. After awhile, it will be necessary to replace the sponge. I did this at the 18-month point. Others may need to do it sooner. It depends on just how much mopping you do. My own efforts are in mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors in a two-bedroom apartment.

My slightly less than stellar rating has to do with ease of use. The lever to squeeze the sponge is spring-loaded. It can take a fair amount of strength to work this lever. I have no problem with this myself, but I know many seniors who would have some difficulty with this. If this one aspect is not a concern for you, then this is an excellent mop.

This mops is the largest residential sponge mop you will find. The scrubber works and the mechanism truly squeezes out enough of the water. Had one for way over 15 years and it eventually got too cruddy looking, but the replacement sponges kept it going.

I had a cleaning busyness for a while & these mops are great, but not easy to find in the chicago area. Get's in tight areas. Little red scrubing pad is very handy.

After one month of normal household use, this professional mop broke. I contacted Quickie, who told me I was flagged due to being a past customer, and having had one mop pviously replaced free of charge. When that one broke, I just pitch it, thinking it was "free" anyways. I bought another new Quickie from a home improvement store. Apparently this is a one shot deal per household, you dont get a new warranty per mop, because they said I would need to send in the broken mop, and pay postage to have them look at it. This would be very cost prohibitive, as they well now, thereby deterring the customer from having them fulfill their warranty.
Their mops are not durable, and cant stand normal household use. I find their policies deceptive advertising.

I love this mop. But one can never change the sponge. Every time I need a refill, I have to buy a new mop - because they make it impossible to change the sponge. That goes with every mop company. I just threw away six handles because replacing the mop is impossible.

For years I have looked for a mop that does a good job on our white kitchen floor, and I'm so excited to get this one. It takes a bit of muscle to wring it out but that is a good thing because that leaves the mop head 'just damp enough' to pick up dirt rather than move it around on the floor. I'm an old gal so I've used many mops in my lifetime but this is the best mop ever ! !

This is pointless for a sponge mop. The mechanism to retract and squeeze the mop to drain off the water does not properly fold the sponge, therefore you can't get the water out. I would not recommend this.
