great potential, but nagging problems remain,

I have used QV products since they first came out. Though QV Deluxe 2007 includes a lot of resources, I am sad to say that, in spite of the hype, QV 2007 still has serious problems. Apart from regular crashes, the program tends to "lose" highlights and notes. For example, I recently did a thorough study through Micah, marking passages using my color-coded sytem and making some notes. Lo and behold, next time I opened QV, the notes and highlights were gone. A lot of time and effort went into this. I have contacted tech support (again), and we will see if they live up to their less than helpful reputation. If you are considering purchasing this product, it might be better to look elsehwere.

It works for me,

So far, I've been pleased with what this product has to offer. I used a different program before and it was just not user-friendly. This one has a very nice interface and the parallel view to compare translations is very nice. I have not used some of the features yet, but it's done everything I've wanted so far. There is a patch available too, and it's always a good idea to patch to the latest version of any software to avoid issues.
The big negative to this product is the price. One of the other version may fit someone else's needs for less money. From what I can tell, the more advanced versions just expand the library of resources within the program (i.e. translations, etc.). It may be a good idea to compare versions at the Quickverse website to see which one is right for you.
