My retired parents got my wife and myself playing this game. It is Very addictive! My father and myself have advanced college degrees and read a great deal. My Mother, not so much, and my wife, she came from Asia and English is Not her native language. And.... None of that matters in this game! With deft use of small words, a player with a lessor vocabulary is easily on par with everyone else. I just ordered three new wooden box sets, one for us, one for my parents, and one for my brother. This really is one of those unique games that is easily learned in a few minutes, yet provides great fun for years! And, on the plus side, it has helped my Mother and my wife with their vocabulary. Just a great, easy, quick to play game for 3-6 playres. Highly Recommended!

This was the second Quiddler game we have purchased. We play it regularly, and we enjoy the opportunities to create new words. It's a real test to make words with all vowels or all consonants! This game can be played with almost anyone beyond the 4th or 5th grade. A great gift for kids or adults.

Wood box is not as solid as I was expecting but far better than conventional cardboard. Fun game for the family.

We already owned the Quiddler game and have been enjoying it for a while. What we realized, is having a protective case for it will make it last longer. The wooden box is perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Now we have an extra set of cards to take on vacations and a sturdy box to keep them in.

I bought this for game night and my family plays it everyday. Working as a team and coming up with spellings of words has added an educational benefit to game night. I bought this Quiddler to save on shipping and we enjoy it more then the game I ordered originally.

I was really excited to see this wooden-boxed Quiddler Card game set-I love the game, but found it fiddly to get in and out of it's cardboard box. Then I saw this and thought it looked like a great solution! However, now that I have it I can see that it is actually too small to hold the cards comfortably. The decks fit, but it's a very tight fit. It is still somewhat difficult to get them in and out of the box, and I can see how it might cause premature wear & tear on the cards themselves. I wish there were boxes like this available for different sized decks, but this is probably a generic card box (meant for two 52-card decks) rather than the larger number of cards in the Quiddler game.
I do love the game, and so I've given this four stars, and even though the box is not ideal, I still like it…just not as much as I'd hoped.

The wooden box was not as impressive as I was expecting. It is too small, making it difficult to get the cards out of it.

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE the Quiddler game, and can play it non-stop for hours. But this set is not a match....the wooden box is actually not big enough to hold the cards. In order to fit the cards in as pictured, you have to remove about 8-10 cards from each stack. Even then, you have to angle the cards a certain way to force them under the lip of the back of the box. And furthermore, with the cards inside, the box lid will not swing freely enough to close, therefore, storage is not an option. Using the box as a place for drawing and discarding is not good either, as there isn't enough room around the deck to fit one's thumb and finger in to draw out a single card. So....what is the point?
