Received this recently as a gift and I am so ecstatic after listening to this cd! There definately will never be another voice like Engelberts and he had it all...........looks.....charisma.......wit........charm.......and respect for music! So happy to have received this cd! Its never too late to listen to something "new" ?? Where is all the talent of today? Thank God for Engelbert for 40 years and still going strong!!

I have every CD of Engelbert's and I was finally able to buy this one. Believe me if you love Engelbert you will want this in your collection. It has become my very favorite because his voice is so perfect for spanish songs. Every song is beautiful and show cases his glorious voice so perfectly. I just can't get enough of this one.

Bought this in 1994 (took a little while to write this review!)because I was a big fan of Bebu Silvetti. I can't say I was a huge Engelbert fan. That being said, this cd is a treasure, Engelbert sings 3 songs in Spanish. He recorded it in Los Angeles and New York, using some of the best musicians: Grant Geissman, Abraham Laboriel, Carlos Vega, Luis Conte and Justo Almario. Bebu Silvett arranged all but four of the songs and Engelbert sings with much restraint, letting the lyrics (.."yours till the stars lose their glory") stand out, front and center. Bebu Silvetti creates some wonderful string arrangements (definitely one of his many strengths). I certainly did not realize that this cd has become so costly, which is a shame, since many fans have been priced out of purchasing this cd, a wonderful collection of songs from a man who has been entertaining us for 44 years and counting!

Every song is a gem and arranged by Bebu Silvetti. EH voice lends itself to the latin flavor of this cd....romance and rhythem. Yours and It's All Beause of You are amoung my favorites. This cd is out of print, and can be costly, but every EH devotee should have this cd in their collection. The insert is attractive, but then again anything with his image is attractive...still a hunk!

I think I own just about all of Engelbert's albums. Most are on CD and some go back to vynil. I love them all but there is a lot of repetition. This one is different. These are not the songs that made him famous but they are excellent even so. This album was well worth the wait.

I'll never forget seeing Englebert Humperdinck in concert in Santa Fe Springs, Ca. It was held at an outdoor venue and his smile lit up the night like you wouldn't believe. I knew I had to run out and buy this CD that he was promoting because the songs and music were so well done. Everytime I listen to it the one song that makes me melt is this particular rendition of "You'll Never Know" because I feel like he is singing it to me personally. I would highly recommend this CD to any fan of his
but unfortunately it's out of stock everywhere I go. I was hoping to buy it for a co-worker of mine because she got to listen to my copy and loves the spanish versions of three of the songs he also does in english. One can only hope.
