The Angel of Wrestling came from Heaven to deliver THIS!,
By Ren (Blast) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quiero Vivir (Audio CD)
Usually the WWE is a dirty, corrupt and badly run company(which is true) But this was something nice they released, thanks to their talented/beautiful ring announcer. BTW, she's more than just a ring announcer. This album proves it.
I got my copy of the album(along with a beautiful autograph) on WWE.com recently. Once I recieved it, I was hooked. I understand spanish, so it was a big plus for me! My personal favorites are the first two tracks. Quiero Vivir is a very upbeat song that gets stuck in your head. Angel is a beautiful song, that really makes you feel good inside. Her duet with Secada is pure gold, such wonderful chemistry. Lilian's songs were upbeat and very romantic. I needed good romance songs, very soothing to the soul. Lilian poured her heart out on this album, she's blessed with the gift to sing people to a place where they'll forget their problems and get lost in the beauty of the music. Gracias Lilian, your album will always be one of my top favorites ever. Sadly as many of you know, her album has been overlooked to an incredible degree. I recommend the album to anyone, it's a special treasure that everyone should own. One of the best female artists in history.

Fantastic!,
This review is from: Quiero Vivir (Audio CD)
This album is so infectious! I am a lifelong fan of WWE and I'm so glad Lilian is finally getting a chance to shine! The album is pure pop at its best and even though it is mostly in Spanish, you can't stop trying to sing along! I would recommend this album for anyone who loves to belt out great tunes!

If you like Gloria Estefan.....,
By

...then you'll love this album. Coincidentally, Estefan's longtime collaborator Jon Secada (who wrote my fave Gloria hit I Can See Your Smile) duets on here. Lilian has an amazing voice, something I first heard when she was an announcer for WWE and sang the National Anthem. Her rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner was, in my humble opinion, second only to Whitney Houston's 92 cover. This whole album is superb, my favorite song being the inspirational Ya Veras. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Good Music, But Beware Of The Restrictive Disclaimer - Can't Resell Or Give Away The CD You Bought,

-------------------------------------------------- I bought this CD from Amazon in March 2008. Although I don't understand Spanish, I found it to be very enjoyable. Lilian has a great voice, and I wish that she had made a completely English version of this album. Thankfully two of the songs are English translations. Track 10 "Under In Love" is the English version of track 4 "Desenamorada", and track 11 "Where Did Love Go?" is the English version of track 3 "Adonde" (that's the duet with Jon Secada). The one thing I dislike about the CD is one thing that I have *NEVER* seen on any CD that I've ever purchased. On the outer rim of the CD is this disclaimer: "This CD is the property of the record company and is licensed to the intended recipient for personal use only. Acceptance of this CD shall constitute an agreement to comply with the terms of the license. Resale or transfer of possession is not allowed and may be punishable under federal and state laws. This CD may be watermarked to identify the intended recipient." It appears that Amazon is selling promo CDs, as this disclaimer pops up in articles about the current case of Universal Music Group (UMG) vs. Troy Augusto (do a Google search for "this CD is the property of the record company" to find more information about the case). Interestingly, Universal Music Latino is the distributor of the CD, though WWE owns the content. However, nothing on the packaging states that the copy Amazon sold me is a promo CD, so I have no idea why it appears on the disc. I've upload images of the CD and the back art to the product gallery here at Amazon, so you can see the disclaimer for yourself, and see that the disclaimer isn't presented to the customer until after the purchase has been made and the product has been opened - thus nullifying the "agreement to comply with the terms of the license" because you can't agree beforehand. I sincerely hope that this is an error and that Universal Music isn't serious with this disclaimer or they certainly will have killed their CD sales for good.

This is a pretty good Rock CD. Lilliana is connected with the WW Raw or whatever it is called - wrestling fakery - so I was skeptical when I ordered it. I went to her website and also listened to some of the songs from I tunes before actually opening the CD for fear I wouldn't like it. But I was greatly surprised that the music was good, the beat good and the words were understandable for people who are learning Spanish it would be good to listen to.

Amazing...,

I've been a fan of Ms. Garcia's since she started in WWE, and was excited when she announced she was doing a CD. The album is amazing, allowing fans and listeners to hear the blend of sultry Spanish tunes that fans were not privileged to hear before the album came out. Fans are used to hearing Lilian sing the Anthem before WWE Events, so the amazing sounds of her singing in Spanish is great music to dedicated fans' ears. Yo No Se, Devestada, Quiero Vivir, and Adonde are all wonderful tunes that catch the listener's ear. The English tracks are also very good. Even if you do not know Spanish, it's still an amazing album.
