A Day In The Life...,

A man (Christian Baltauss) goes through his daily routine, slowly revealing that things are not as mundane as they appear. A QUIET DAY is a quiet movie w/ an almost gentle atmosphere, yet it deals w/ corruption, child sexual abuse, and murder. Baltauss has few lines of dialogue, letting his actions do most of his "talking". He is a complex, interesting character. As the story unfolds, we are drawn into a subtle mystery w/ some nice twists along the way (the man's identity / occupation came as a complete shock to me!). Don't expect car chases, explosions, or karate battles. A QUIET DAY isn't as obvious as that. Also includes a short film w/ Baltauss called THE OTHER WOMAN that has a satisfying twist of it's own. French w/ english subtitles...
