Dr. Ogilvie shares prayers to begin each day - prayers that apply to you right where you are in your relationship with the Lord. Each prayer can be used as a prayer of itself, or it can give you some direction in how to continue your morning worship. I have had several copies for my personal use and have given them away, only to be asked again if I had more. So I am stocking up. Years ago when Dr. Ogilvie was Senior Pastor at Hollywood Presbyterian Church, my husband and I visited services several times over a couple of years. You could feel the Spirit in that place. I know Dr. Ogilvie to be a prayer-filled man himself, and the Lord always seems to give him wonderful words to put in print - words through which the Lord speaks to me.

Quiet Moments with God was recommended to me by a friend and I didn't really expect a whole lot but have been so pleasantly surprised. It's a thoughtful, spiritual way to start the day...and lasts all the day through too! I really like it.

Received this book a few years ago and have since given it many times. Daily it speaks to my mind, heart and soul and gives me encouragement and direction. You will be blessed, if you read it daily!

I was given Quiet Moments With God by my former Pastor (91 years old). It was his personal copy and had markings and comments as he dealt with his wife's serious illness. I treasure my copy for this fact and for what I read and learn from this book. It helps center me on Today - not yesterday or tomorrow. It says to me "for This Day, Dear Lord...".

This book was a favorite of my father-in-law who passed away. As a legacy to his/our church his children donated many of these books to be given to anyone who wished to have a "Quiet Moment with God". The daily readings are thought provoking, inspirational and up lifting. A nice way to start, end or embelish your day!

Excellent, loved this book and have my own that is now tattered and has been read and re-read every year for the past 5. Awesome gift for anyone, each days reading is filled with wonderful wisdom, encouragement and more. I open it every morning to start my day off right!

I have had this devotional for several years now, and it is one I recommend to new Christians. I have given it away to many people who have responded that they enjoy it as much as I do. It just seems to have just the right prayers, with scripture to stand in faith on.

I have had this book for over 5 years and read each morning. I purchased this one for a Christmas gift. I am sure anyone who reads it will love it.

This book is for you! the prayers he writes seem to really help you start your day...It's just what you need in the morning...this book is Christ-centered and I love it!

This is my favorite prayer book. It is more than a "feel good" prayer book. It inspires true love, devotion and sacrafice to our Lord. I bought a bunch to

use as confirmation gifts for my friends kids. I was surprised how much they loved this book too!
