This is an inexpensive little book that gives some information about the lifestyle of Plain People. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, in the USA, these groups are actually growing in members.

This is an excellent resource on the Amish culture for the adult reader. I did not find the reading level easy enough for the elementary students in our school, but it will be a comprehensive resource for the teachers.
