This book actually put my mind and spirit at ease before I go to sleep. I've been without it for a couple weeks and haven't had the same peace at night that I usually would. I hope this book brings all who read it peace also.

Upbuilding, inspirational, faith strengthening, and sooths a broken heart. My review is based solely on the first 3 enties. Thats as far as I got before feeling compelled to add my five star rating. doesnt seem to be written solely for women as another reviewer implied.

I bought a Nook Color back in February. I rooted in in March. NO, rooting your device is NOT illegal. With that bit of contention aside, I almost feel as if rooting it was of Divine origin.

Due to my device being rooted, I was able to get the Kindle app. Once I had that, I was able to get "Quiet Reflections of Peace" as one of the free ebooks Amazon was giving away.

What an immense blessing this book has been to me. I say my bedtime prayers, read this devotional book, shut down my NC and meditate on the lesson before going to bed. Peace, joy and empowerment to begin a new day is always the result.

I just shared last night's reading (The Oasis) with my mom. She loved it and wanted a copy to send to an ailing relative. Due to having mine in epub format, I knew of nothing else that could be done EXCEPT come to Amazon. I just bought two hardbacks. One for her and one for me.

Thank you Amazon! Thank you authors! Thank you most of all God! I pray blessings will fall on all who have the pleasure of owning and reading this book.

This is the kind of book one does not set down and read from start to finish. I have been using it mostly at bedtime as a quiet time for reflection on God at bedtime. I do recommend the book although the price to me seemed a bit on the high side.

Quiet Reflections of Peace I usually buy a devotional book every year. This is about the third or fourth I have tried on my Kindle this year. I returned all of them except this one. This is one of the best I have found over the years. It's not too long for daily reading, (so you aren't bored before you finish your daily devotion, & dread picking it up everyday). It's quite interesting, & has just enough of what is needed to pump up your day. You get a scripture, at the beginning of each devotional, to go with the theme of the day, & the themes reach & challenge many areas of the Christian Walk. The devotional reading is about 2 to 3 pages of thought-provoking reading around the scripture, that you can apply to your daily life. At the end of each devotion, there is a prayer to be prayed, (related to what you have read). If you are a Christian, & one who constantly desires to have growth in their spirit-walk, this book is for you. Some of the readings challenge you to try some things on a daily basis to add to your spiritualism. Nothing too hard or way out there--just things you can add to your daily Christian walk easily. I enjoy reading this devotional & the prayer at the end of each. I try to do it on a daily basis. It gives me more to think about, as far as how I treat others & how I react to situations that I don't expect to come up, but invariably do, because as Christians our lives are full of trials & tribulations. How we react to them, can mean the difference in a rotten day, & a day that just had a bump or two in the road that we find, with a little effort, we can overcome! This book will help you toward the end result of being an over-comer, you will see progress in your life day to day as you read this book & pray!

This book is such an inspiration and source of encouragement! I enjoy letting it be the last thing I read before falling asleep. It provides much needed peace, comfort and renewed strength after a long day. Because of the way its written it's perfect to pick up any time you need a quick "power boost" of faith, hope, encouragement and spiritual strength! So glad I found it!

It's nice to start the day in a peaceful & positive way....and with the problems facing the world today we need God more than ever!

I contributed 15 devotions to this new book for women. I look forward to reading it and seeing how all the authors' work gelled together. Praying that it will be a comfort and inspiration to women as they end their day. Each devotion takes only minutes to read but can bring peace and set the tone for calming thoughts before bed.
