Like any outstanding teacher - and a great coach is an excellent instructor - coach Dungy does not leave any person behind; this can supplement other study materials or can be used to introduce someone to the New Testament and then utilized for future reference.

While it can be used by one person, to involve others in studying the New Testament is obviously a way to practice the priorities of a winning life. As the saying goes, "There's no 'I' in team."

Coach Dungy's celebrity and success make this a great gift for anyone trying to figure out how to get ahead. Its great to use along with the new book but maybe better as a gift. It's handy size and attractive appearance also make is aesthetically desirable and easy to slip into someone's hands. Buy two or three and keep them handy to share with those inquiring minds you encounter!

Wonderful! I like the fact that Psalms & Proverbs is included with

the New Testament. Verse Finder & Overview of the Books is very helpful. I've given several as gifts & everyone raves about it. The compactness makes it easy to carry & use when on the go. This is a 'TD' in my eyes. (touchdown & Tony Dungy's initials)

I bought this book for my nephew and it just wrote me and said, "I love this book." He is actually in jail so he needs all the encouragement he can get. Tony Dungy is a great role model so this book of his is just what my loved one needs.

Great reading for anyone who enjoys family, sports, and most importantly, the joy of knowing Jesus. It's a great book for Dads of all ages and provides some great insight into Tony Dungy's philosophy on life and how he grew into it. I was very impressed with how he handled very tough situations, and thankful for his father who served as a Tuskeegee Airman. You even get to learn a little about some NFL players that you wouldn't get to know from anywhere else. If you buy it you'll like it.

I bought this as a gift for a family member. Tony Dungy is a very special man, with a special wisdom beyond most. There is a time and a place for everything.

When you are ready to get serious about life, this book will help you a great deal.

I don't ever pretend to be politically correct. I prefer to search for truth not laughs, along the way.

Great book that has wonderful analogies that make it relatable. We got this for our son as he was heading off to Iraq but we read it too. It was very encouraging.

I ordered this version of the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs because I was ordering a book for my husband by Tony Dungy and this is how it is listed! Worked out ok because it is a very easy to read version, but I'm not sure why it is listed under Tony Dungy! :-)
