I loved this book! I couln't disagree with the previous reviewer more. It's true, there are no boring lacing and buttoning pages. Who wants that? You can find that anywhere. This book was full of creative new ideas that are sure to delight any young child. The excellent directions and photo instructions were very well done. This book was great for the examples given but I found it to be a springboard to my own ideas as well. This book was a wealth of information that has me collecting my own supplies so I can get started! Weird, applique and quilting stuff? I didn't find that. It has clear photos showing even the craft challenged that it can be done with basic sewing skills. Even a non-sewer could do this with some fabric glue. No, I'm not some friend of the author. I really loved this book. I would highly recommend it!

I liked this book a lot and incorporated some of the page ideas into another busy book I was making that was a little more step by step. This one was unique and beautiful, but maybe more geared towards someone a little more advanced than I am. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, I just felt like I had to deduct something since it doesn't break everything down for the beginner like me.
I liked the design and layout a lot since it had lots of good photographs and examples of how to make various projects. If you want a unique busy book or one geared towards an OLDER toddler/preschooler, you'll like this book more than other books I've seen on the topic.
Oh, another thing I LOVED was that the book is designed to add pages as you make them, so you don't have to undergo a huge project all at once. It seems you could easily whip out a page on a quiet afternoon.

This book was so different. It did a page at a time not a whole book. It had a lot of good ideas that were far different than other books. Lots of different things for different ages. Very inventive.

great ideas my kids love and I can make it all crooked
