More About the Author
Years of working in Radiology fired an ambition to become a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. While enrolled in the tech program the name, "Rudolf Virchow," presented itself in a variety of classes. After nine years of research and writing, Dunn's book, "Rudolf Virchow - Four Lives in One," was published through CreateSpace. The Korean right was purchased by a publisher with a release date of December 2016.
Dunn took up kayaking later in life, achieving certification as an instructor by the American Canoe Association (ACA). Written in an easy-to-read style, the steady-selling book, "Quiet Water Kayaking," provides a solid foundation for those new to the sport.
Dunn's next project is an "Around the World" series, beginning with "Weddings, Funerals and Taboos Around the World," soon to be released.

It covers topics such as what to buy, how to haul them, safety, and so much more. The book is definitely a must have for the beginner, and would reinforce knowledge that the more experienced paddler should already know.
Chapter 6 is a "How To" chapter for organizing a group paddling event. It's great information for those who are already kayakers and now want to move to a level of sharing and leading others in the kayak experience. Highly recommended.
I usually steer clear of self-published materials, and while this book definitely looks like a self-publsihed title sitting on your shelf, Leslie Dunn sure knows her stuff and so will you after you read this.

Very, very basic and simple. I did not think kayaking was that simple and safe or I would not have looked for a book to help me get started.Published on June 27, 2013 by One D Plus Two
