5.0 out of 5 stars A great way to shed some light!
I bought a set of these last spring and love them. I have them inside a couple of my kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity cabinets and linen closet. I have a swivel light in my clothes closet although it doesn't seem as bright as the Quik Brite lights. A couple times I have left it on by mistake. All in all, they work great and are welcome during a power outage. They are...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not exactly what I expected...
Ok, maybe I just didn't read into the product enough, but I thought they would be push to turn on lights. There is a magnet, and I really can't figure out a good way to use the magnet... how make it work with a cabinet, because the light and magnet need to touch, and it just wouldn't work. It does put off a good amount of light, I'll give you that. But I find it...

One note: Since the mounting adhesives are not reusable, I bought additional stick mount adhesive strips from the home improvement store to use when I decide to reposition or move them to another location.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Lights, January 12, 2009
These are great products. I have them in a corner lazy-susan in my kitchen, linen closets and drawers in the utility room and bath. You put the light in the door frame or cabinet and the magnet on the door. The trick is lining them up so the magnet is in close proximity to the light when the door or drawer is closed. This turns off the light. Open the door, light comes on as the magnet is moved away from the light. Test (in a dark room) to make sure the light goes off when the door is closed or you will wear out the battery. Once you install one, it's a snap.

4.0 out of 5 stars Where have these been my whole life?, May 12, 2007
These little lights are fantastic. I wasn't sure I'd find uses for all ten--no problems there, though! Best of all, my car finally has a light in the glove box.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brite Lite, March 5, 2008

These are great little lights that provide a big amount of light. They are to be used in an area that doesn't require constant light. But read the fine print - the magnet is supposed to stay near the power source. Don't throw them away.

The batteries are worth more than I paid for the lights. These things put out a lot of light for what they are. 2 white LEDs a reed switch (magnetic) and 3 button cells.

3.0 out of 5 stars They're very small, September 28, 2010
This review is from: Quik-Brite LED Lights- 10 LED Light - Include 8 Qulk Brites and 2 BONUS Swivel Spots! (CD-ROM)
These little lights arrived promptly and in working order. They are very small, only 2 1/2 inches long, just a little over an inch wide, and a half inch thick. I placed one in my cabinet to test it out. First with the kitchen light on--there was barely a difference. Then with the kitchen lights off and it was slightly better. The room has to be pitch black to make a difference. The magnet can be about an inch away (max) to turn it off. If you need lights for a small, very dark space, this product might work for you. For better light in a bigger area, you'll have keep looking (or turn all 10 mini lights on together at the same time).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value, Works as advertised, but not very bright., June 8, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was surprised a product so inexpensive would exactly as advertised.

These small lights (smaller than I expected) are stuck to the inside of a cabinet or drawer via adhesive tape on the back. When they are in contact with the included magnet (when the door is shut), the light goes off. They were very easy to install and the magnet just needs to be within 1.5 inches of any side of the light. This makes it easy to install them correctly, and at any angle.

It's great for lighting up a drawer, but just 1 wasn't bright enough for lighting my entire pantry. I used 3 in the pantry and it is lit well. I still give it 5 stars because they are so cheap and small that its no problem to mount 3. This also enables you to get light from different sides.

To sum up, this is the cheapest and most painless solution out there for lighting a dark cabinet, though you may need to use a few.

3.0 out of 5 stars to stick or not to stick...., May 11, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Quik-Brite LED Lights- 10 LED Light - Include 8 Qulk Brites and 2 BONUS Swivel Spots! (CD-ROM)
I purchased quite a few of these little lights to light areas that are quite dark and hard to see in. The lights are great if you can just keep them in place, otherwise they fall and lose their magnets that keep them off. I wish I had known that magnets were used to control the on and off position of these lights. IF you lose it, the light stays on until it dies out and you have to then replace the batteries. Please, next time mention that the glue isn't guaranteed to work all the time and that the lights are controlled by a magnet. I'm happy using them, I really am, I especially like the click on ones, now they're great.

They really do what they are suppose to do. Dont let the picture mislead you, they arent as bright as on the image, so that is not true you will not be able to read with them.
