Path to wherever you want...,

We have had this item for years and used it for a specific project many years ago, but still have it.It is easy to use. For our use, just stepping stones, we didn't need a strong base, so we scraped this ground, placed the Walk Maker, and put in about half of our mix, once it started to set up, move the form and place in the rest. That much mix was about one 80# bag. And the 'stones' were separate, and about 2" high. We put sand around them and let the grass grow between (that is what we wanted). We only did one bag worth a day, so it took a while to 'get er done', and yes, we did clean up after each use totally. In the future, I would probably put a light wipe of cooking oil or spray of Pam (or similar) on the form and tools to ease cleaning of everything. Normal directions have you put down about 2" of 'base', then put the form down and put in the rest. So one (roughly 2'x2') section would take one 80# bag of Quikrete or other sacked concrete mix. In either case, once it has set up for an hour or so, either use a trowel or I have a place I need more sidewalk, so I guess I better get out to it! Cleaning off the ground is more hassle than putting in the walk.

These stone maker forms are just great for making walkways, stone paths and decorative borders around your home! Our friends used them, and their walkways have lasted for many, many years. Keep the form washed off, and it can be used over and over.

I was amazed at how well this mold works. I followed the suggestion of one reviewer and sprayed a little cooking spray on the mold with the first set. The mold never once failed to release a beautiful pattern. My husband mixed the concrete while I set the mold. We used two different colors for some variation. I could not be more pleased with how well this mold works.

I bought one of these years ago, but have a larger area to work in now and needed another one. I couldn't find one locally, so went online to shop. I found it and ordered it and it arrived in a very short period of time in excellent condition. I would definitely order from them again.

Cobblestone Mold,
By
This review is from: Quikrete 6921-32 Walk Maker
I bought two of these molds and also the OdJob mixer. I am almost 60 - they worked great... my path looks great. I followed the directions and it worked perfectly. It seemed that it was impossible each mold would take 60 lb of concrete mixed with 3 qts of water - but it's an exact fit. On the advise of a builder friend I did add about a couple pounds of Portland Cement for extra strength. They look great! I'm going to build a few more cobblestone pathways at the lake house.

Put this in my wish list and the next day found it for under $16.00 at the local Lowes store, not the $25.00 Amazon price.

Easy to use. It will take a little to get the coloring right and if you use standard concrete, you will need to do a few trials to determine the right mix (amount) to avoid material waste. You need only 30 minutes to let it sit before pulling the form, very easy and fast, if you use cement accelerant results should be better.

so EASY to use. My fiance (with no experience with this type of stuff...ever) was able to do it, and they turned out beautifully, especially with some dye.

Pathmate a fun project,
This review is from: Quikrete 6921-32 Walk Maker
We made a patio last year and it still looks great.Lots of positive feedback from the neighbors. At first it was taking a bit longer then as went moved along, so did the project. We had fun but here is a tip worth remembering: only purchase one because if you place two side-by-side, it makes a larger gap between the pattern. I don't think other people can really tell but I see the difference. I would recommend this fun project! Worth every penny. Purchased the roller as well to help.

This is a very useful product for making a stone walkway. I have made a small walkway and will experiment with different stains in the spring when I make a longer one.
