This book provides basic ethnographic information about the Quileute people who live on two reservations in Washington State, at the mouths of the Quillayute and Hoh Rivers on the Olympic Peninsula.

There is brief historical information, and chapters on food (with recipes), language, place names, and games. There are also a lot of historical photographs and photos of various cultural artefacts. Those photos may be the most useful thing in the book.

I'm a bit surprised to see it from a university press, packaged as scholarship, since it doesn't go much further than what a children's book on the tribe might cover.
