Here is another example for a good learning book For Picture quilting. Also very good example of turning your favorite photos into textile art. Raylene Wolff

Picture quilting
I didn't find this book as helpful as I had hoped. not the style I was looking for, although there were bits in it I found useful. lots of projects to follow to learn her techniques - I just didn't want to make her quilt, so the patterns weren't really useful to me.

This book was just what I needed to help with a project I was involved with concerning saving a local historic building by making a raffle quilted wall hanging. It arrived pronto which also was a total plus.
