Book Description

September 6, 2011
Inspired by everything from the view out her kitchen window to old quilt patterns to childhood memories, Jenifer Dick takes you on a journey of inspiration and design to create 11 original quilts and projects. She guides you through the quilt design process - from inspiration to completion - encouraging you to make your own choices every step of the way.

These contemporary, often quirky, designs evoke nostalgia, '70s vintage fabrics and graphics as well as organic designs. They're easy to make with today's popular solids and big prints.

Complete instructions are included, along with inspiration so you can put your own spin on each design. Jenifer also offers her tips for invisible machine applique.

About the Author

Jenifer began quilting in 1993 when on a whim, she signed up for a beginning quiltmaking class. From the moment she finished that first wall hanging, she was hooked. Jenifer is a member of the Lee's Summit Quilt Guild, the Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild, and the American Quilter's Society. Jenifer previously wrote The Circuit Rider's Quilt and Grapefruit Juice and Sugar: Bold Quilts Inspired by Grandmother's Legacy for Kansas City Star Quilts.
