About the Author

Michelle's talent for designing quilts and wearable art has led her to many successful endeavors. She designs and markets a line of southwestern quilt patterns. She has exhibited her wearable art creations in several American Quilter's Society fashion shows, the 1999 Fairfield Fashion Show, and Artwear 2002. Her quilts and wearable art have also been shown in galleries, museums, and quilt shows throughout the United States. She teaches, lectures, and provides special exhibits for quilt groups across the country. Michelle lives in Roswell, New Mexico, with her husband, Randy, daughter, Jessica, and two dogs. When she's not quilting, Michelle enjoys spending time with her friends and family and playing with her pet prairie dogs, Bubba and Max.

This is a great book. I'm a beginner to quilting, though I have experience with applique and I found this book very easy to use. Beuatiful crosses are used for the projects...a very nice variety.
