Quilters' Help
As a novice quilter, I have found this book to be helpful in how to determine yardage for quilting projects, as well providing basic information on borders, bindings, calculating block sizes, etc.

What a WASTE!
Bought this guide hoping it would be a true Pocket Guide. Extremely disappointed. It is difficult to decipher and the formulas are complex. It's faster for me to find the yardage faster on my own. I have downloaded "cheat sheets" from various sites that are much better and cost nothing. Don't waste your money on this "The Quilter's Pocket Reference Guide: An Easy Guide to...

I use this book for quilting and refer to it many times. I would recommend this book to anyone who quilts. I have asked my local quilt shop if they carried it, which they don't, so I purchased it from Amazon. I purchased this copy for a friend as a gift.

This book is GREAT for any quilter. It has so much to offer. I am a beginner quilter and mathmatically challenged... :) This book give exact yardage for the size you are going to make. Also the exact amount of inches needed for different sized quilts. Great book to have handy when you are shopping for fabric..I would definitely recommend it.

I absolutely love this book! It has saved me money and time in so many ways. I love that you can input the math into a pre-made formula and figure out just exactly how much fabric you will need. I will never make another quilt without first looking through this helpful tool!
