Easy to cut with paper scissors. Unaffected by the tip of the iron when forming the 1/4" fold at the edge of the applique piece. Clear mylar. Large enough to use for more than one project and inexpensive as well.

Great product for cutting out applique templates. So much easier to fold over edges and press them into shape. This allowed me to reuse the templates over and over. It helps keep the curves smooth in this process much better than a fusible web.

I am making doll quilts and needed to create templates for triangular shaped pieces for the quilts. I use a rotary cutter and ruler along with the template to cut the fabric. The Mylar seems to hold up to the occasional bumps from the rotary cutter without incurring serious nicks. I am new to making quilting templates, but this was easy to use to create straight lined templates, such as squares, rectangles and triangles.

While this is working for me, it's not perfect. The Mylar does curl after running an iron over it - it did it the first time I used it. So now it's tricky to cut around. Also the Mylar seemed to have dried glue on it.
