Many basic quilting steps are explained. However there were many steps on handpiecing, aplique and finishing with curved edges that I had never known how to do. This book will help me as I progess in my quilting. Teaching me many different methods.

Quilting: The Complete Guide is a comprehensive guide to quilting, it is small in size and easy to keep right next to your work space, it is spiral bound so you don't loose your place; the instructions are easy to follow.

Great book with tips for every level of quilter, from beginner to advanced. Very handy for quick reference, the book is a convieniant size, and has very good illustrations. I would say this would be a welcome addition to every quilter's library.

When I first started teaching myself to make quilts (in 2007), I purchased this as one of my first books. It's essential for any quilting newbie, but also a very valuable reference/teaching tool for anyone who is still building skills. Unless you're a quilting guru who has been sewing for MANY years, this book needs to be in your library.

What a great book to have for a reference. The spiral binding is sturdy, giving the book the ability to stay open and lay flat. The smaller size is very handy and fits well next to the sewing machine in the work area. A general all purpose book with lots of helpful information.

This is absolutely the most complete instructional book on any subject I've ever run across. She leaves nothing to doubt. It covers everything, very simply and with many, many CLOSE-UP (!) pictures. It, also, shows how to use the many quilting rulers. It's spriral bound but with a hard outer cover. It's far superior to any class I've ever attended for quilting and should be on the bookshelf of new quilters as well as more experienced quilters as a great reference guide.

very informative and has everything I wanted to know to start quilting for the first time

I am a new quilter and this book along with the few lessons I have taken has helped me complete two quilted wall hangings that I made for Yorkie Rescue. I successfully put a binding on my second wall hanging without having to run to the quilting shop for help! I believe this is a must have for anyone learning to quilt.

This is a very pretty book filled with great information. It will be helpful for beginning quilters as well as experienced ones with easy to follow instructions for up-to-date techniques. A great reference for your quilting library!
