While I thought this might give a number of useful tips on practical accuquilt GO! usage, it does not. There is one page of "tips" (actually, only two columns), and the rest of the book is very basic quilt patterns. If you can understand a normal quilt pattern requires a square, and identify the type of die you need, then this book is a waste of time for you. It may only be useful (maybe) for brand-new quilters who have never pieced a quilt before. Very disappointed.

This book is for all levels of quilters and Accuquilt GO! enthusiasts. If you're looking for instructions and tips on how to use the machine, there are a few; however, there are many websites with this information in greater detail. This book focuses on projects for GO! dies, and many aren't the "run of the mill". There are quilts, totes, table linens, pillows, wall hangings and even decorated flower pots! The author shows creative uses for the dies (for example, animals and critters using the circle dies), and if you want to use a particular die only once (for example, the baby rattle) there are templates that the purchaser can enlarge and use. I found many hints and ideas that I hadn't seen elsewhere, and I'm very pleased with purchasing this book.

As a new "Go" Cutter owner, I appreciate having some patterns to follow. While it is true, as one reviewer pointed out, that one could figure this out,I like having directions handed to me. Especially as a new user, I think it is a good idea. The patters are attractive and I plan on making several things from this book.

with the name "quilt On the Go" I was looking for some beautiful designs that were quick and easy. I was disappointed. Lots of applique that did not look like you could do it quickly or easily. Limited piecing designs and the ones there were definitely not what I would consider "on the go".

The book is informative and has some interesting projects. However, the book uses many more dies that the average person would have. It would have been better to stick with a limited number of dies and show how much those dies are able to create.

If you own an AccuQuilt cutting system, you should have this book. I was hoping for just one idea that I would like to make using the dies. I want to make the whole book. Great detailed directions, lovely photos, wonderful ideas. I am so glad I bought this book. I would highly recommend it any one that has the AccuQuilt system.

I must disagree with those who do not like this book. To me, it is the best book that I've seen for the Accuquilt Go.

If you are a new Go user, it is useful and informative in that it shows you exactly what dies to use on the projects in the book. It also has a very, very nice assortment of patterns, that I, as a seasoned veteran of quilting, think are interesting. I have a list of projects out of this book that I intend on doing. It has everything from a small purse, a couple of totes, apron, place mats and lovely quilts that won't take long at all to cut out using the Go cutter.

Of all the Accuquilt books that have been put out for the Go, this one is by far, my favorite and I recommend it to anyone who has a Go cutter.
