5.0 out of 5 stars Traditional patterns updated
This is a great book if you love the look of antique quilts, but don't have the time to make them. The authors take old quilts and explain an easy way to make them. I am in the process of making the circle quilt now and it's not only coming out great looking, but it's fun to do! 3.0 out of 5 stars quilts from aunt amy
This book is not for beginners. I did not care for the fabric choices of the finished quilts pictured. As far as the constuction of the quilts, there are lots of small pieces, curved piecing, applique. A challenging book.

So many quilts to take you back in time and they are quick and easy to make. A good variety for kids and adults both male and female. Gives you lots of ways to use up your scrap material, even if it is newer material, when the quilt is done it looks like it came out of your grandmother's attic. The history is a nice read too.
