I am beginner quilter. This book explains perfectly how to make each design. She took time to go into detail in explaining everything about quilting. She showed step by step diagrams in how to make the quilts. I am enjoying this quilting book!!!!

A great book for an Quilter, or beginner. She explains the patterns with clear instructions and fun pictures. For some who have never Quilted before or have some experience. If you are a hard core quilter, this is not for you. It is for beginer quilters. But all around, awesome!

I got this book because of the quilt on the cover that I found interesting enough to want to do. After getting the book and reading through it, I find there is much more I want to try my hand at, as well as the thoughts of making quilts for charities and hospitals. It was really a gift in a book! Great book for guilds to do as well!

I fell in love with the cover quilt, but have found so many others inside that I like as well. I have dozens of quilting books, but this is one I reach for often for inspiration.

The patterns are especially well suited for scrap quilts although most of the examples in this book are made with "bright" fabrics.

This is a great book for beginners / children learning to quilt. It is also good for quilters with experience to use as chairty / gift quilts. They are interesting patterns, but quick to do.

Simple illustrations and instructions with easy, satisfying projects.

This is a great book for those looking to make a charity quilt, beginner and advanced beginning quilters, and those looking for an easy yet beautiful quilt to do.

Wonderful, scrap friendly projects for those who don't know what to do with those left-over strips cluttering up the sewing room.

I love that the blocks are traditional but done in colors that will appeal to kids. I tend to like quilts that are bright and happy and this book hits the spot for being eye candy even though the designs are simple enough for all levels.

There is information on Project Linus and organizing a quilting bee, as well as a listing of other charity quilt projects too.

If you are a very beginner, this isn't going to be the only quilt book you will ever need but it is a really good one to have. I would recommend a book on machine quilting to go with it.

I also highly recommend a copy of Comfort Quilts from the Heart: 12 Quick Projects To Take Care of Others by Jake Finch for those who are seriously interesting in charity quilt projects. The two books compliment each other nicely.

When I thumbed through this book at a local shop, I knew immediately I had to have it. I KNEW I could find it on Amazon!! Usually I like one or maybe two patterns in a quilting book, but I love ALL of these quilt patterns! Each pattern is a great stash buster! This book is a treasure trove and a great inspiration for future projects!

I was visiting my friend Lorraine in Colorado when she picked this book up. At home I looked at the book and found the quilts inside are soooo simple to cut out and piece.

i've actually made a couple of these quilts. They are VERY easy and the color pictures are great.

I hope you like the book as much as I do.
