Disappointing,
This review is from: Quilts by Paul D Pilgrim: Blending the Old and the New (Paperback)
This book is not an instruction book, neither is it a book with historical detail. While there are color photos of each quilt, the commentary is lacking. Often the accompanying commentary is just a couple of sentences long. Each quilt pictured includes a chart of the blocks that indicates if the block was made from an old block or from contemporary fabric. Not very useful for either creating your own quilts or for understanding the historical background of the old blocks.

This book was not what I expected. Is good for reading but not learning more about quilting. I returned the book. Would be good for just reading.
