Excellent reference book for planning a quinceañera.,

I'm currently planning my daughter's quinceañera and this book was a God-sent. It provides in-depth information on this special celebration, covering multiple latin cultures. I was not able to find another book in the market that begins to cover the quinceañera like this book does. I recommend it to anyone interested in planning a successful quinceañera.

A Must-Read for Planning a Quinceanera,

I had my quinceanera in May of 1998, and this book really helped my mother and I plan my special once-in-a-lifetime event. Its advice is excellent, with suggestions about the dress, decorations, the mass, and other vital elements to making a quinceanera the best it can be. What's even better about the book is that it covers the traditions of all Latin cultures, so you get the best of all customs. I reccomend this book to anybody planning a quinceanera; with its details and tips, it's a must-read.

This book is very informative about options to planning a quinceanera, but it really is not a planning guide. I know about quinceaneras, but I wanted something to guide me a little more through the planning process. EX: Six months before, do this.
This book explains some different traditions, which were helpful. We are planning a quinceanera and picking and choosing the ideas we like and blending them to make the quinceanera a unique celebration. This book is a good reference guide for ideas, but I do not think it is very helpful with planning. There seems to be little emphasis on religion, which I found quite disappointing. Most of the planning emphasis seems to be on the party, which was not too helpful to us since we're planning a simple reception.
