5.0 out of 5 stars Things I didn't consider before the baby was here...
We love this stroller! When we were stroller shopping, I was single-minded about picking the carseat first and from there, the best stroller available to match. We decided on the Britax Companion infant seat and I still am 100% happy with our decision. Where we went wrong was underestimating the importance of a great stroller. The Buzz is far superior to the stroller...

3.0 out of 5 stars Comfy, easy to stroll... but so heavy!
I love the design of this stroller... but comfortable for the baby, and very easy to stroll. However, it's soooooooooo heavy, and I can't carry it by myself. It doesn't have a cup holder, the canopy is too mall, and the basket is very small. I want to love this stroller, but it's really way too heavy for me. I wish I did more research, and I would buy quinny senzz instead...

We love this stroller! When we were stroller shopping, I was single-minded about picking the carseat first and from there, the best stroller available to match. We decided on the Britax Companion infant seat and I still am 100% happy with our decision. Where we went wrong was underestimating the importance of a great stroller. The Buzz is far superior to the stroller we bought to match our Companion. The reasons it is better are things that I didn't understand the importance of before baby was here. I'm not even going to touch on how unbelievably sexy and innovative this new stroller is and as you can see from other reviews, it lives up to the hype. Here are the two reasons that have made me a believer:

1) Comfortable seat. -- The buzz has thick, dense, cushy foam and hugs our little one like a dream. She is incredibly content in this seat which makes long walks fun again. Our other stroller has a canvas covered thick cardboard seat. I now understand why she was not happy in there for long.

2) Sunshade is incredibly flexible and can keep the sun out of her eyes from any angle. -- I live in Seattle and this was a detail that didn't seem important to me pre-baby. I was wrong. The sunshade on our other stroller is short and inflexible. It worked great, as long as the sun was behind baby. When we turned to walk the other direction, I would need to use a blanket thrown over to shield her. Not the case with the Buzz. The sunshade is incredible, it can fold down flat to completely encase the baby if necessary.

I'm not sure what I would have done differently from the beginning because I love our carseat and loved having a stroller frame to put the carseat on. But, now that we're at the stroller phase (5 months) I see incredible value in the buzz and am really happy to have one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best urban baby purchase, December 7, 2007

This stroller not only looks good but has incredibly easy maneuverability on city sidewalks. It is lightweight and cushiony for city bumps and curbs yet easy to wheel in stores and restaurants. The dreamy bassinet has been great for my one month old and we use it not only to stroll but as a bassinet inside the house. I have been impressed with the accesories included with the bassinet as well as the stroller itself including fleece blanket, snow cover, mosquito net and rain cover. The whole system is compact and lightweight compared to other strollers out there and the car seat completes the integration. We have been enjoying these three products so much that we now are going to purchase the Quinny Zapp as a travel stroller. We knew we were taking a gamble to purchase products from this line that haven't been in the US for long but have been thoroughly impressed and happy with the purchase. The only things I wish they would consider is to make a compatible cup holder for the stroller and a rain cover that isn't made from PVC.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelieveable!, December 1, 2007

This stroller is amazing! We saw these when we lived in the U.K. and were so excited when we realized that they had come to the states. Some of the websites had long waits for back-orders but on Amazon we were able to get this in time for the birth of our first grandchild. It is a dream to use and to put up and down. I sure wish that there would have been a product like this when I had kids. And, it is less expensive than the Bug-a-boo and I believe just as good of a product.
Thanks!

4.0 out of 5 stars Stylish, cute and easy to maneuver, May 14, 2009
This review is from: Quinny Buzz Stroller-Juice (Baby Product)
When I received my Quinny, I was a bit surprised by how large and heavy it is. I though most expensive strollers were light. But once I assembled it and took it out for a ride, I really began to love it. It is easy to maneuver, so I can walk my 100 lb lab with 1 had and use the other to steer the stroller. It's great for running so I can shed those pregnancy pounds. I love the color! I got juice and I get so many compliments. It really is rare for me to be out and not get a comment. The only other down side is the storage area is shallow and does not hold much. I love my Quinny but it is not for those looking for a light, compact stroller.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love my Quinny Buzz, January 13, 2010

I got this stroller because I wanted a full-size stroller that I could actually fit into the trunk of my Mazda RX-8. I was originally shopping for a Bugaboo Bee, but ran across a Buzz and fell in love.

Pros: Fantastic ride, adjustable handle bar, great looks, comfortable for children, folds up smaller than most strollers of the same size.

The telescoping handle is great for me and my husband since we can adjust it to fit whoever is currently pushing the stroller.

It pushes and turns like a dream. The rear tires give it a great ride, and it is very easy to get up over curbs- just tip up the front end and walk it up and over.

In spite of what some reviews are saying, it folds up very compactly for a full size stroller. It's one of the only non-umbrella strollers I can get into the trunk of my RX-8 (seat or Dreami cot- they both fit in with the frame, especially when the frame/stroller is flipped upside down first). Also, for a full size stroller, it's average weight, so again, I'm not sure what the fuss is about it being so heavy. But if my 5 ft self has no problem lifting it into my car and my husband's SUV, I can't imagine anyone else would have much trouble either. Compared to the Graco Quattro we've got, it's tiny! I think the people complaining have had very little experience with normal full sized strollers, else they'd realize how small and not-heavy the Buzz actually is.

The fabric also cleans up well, having been given some kind of scotch guard treatment at the factory, and we've gotten a TON of use out of the bug net (Virginia in the late summer/fall is mosquito heaven). The sun canopy and rain guard will be put to good use too when we visit Disney in a few months.

We went ahead and bought the Dreami cot as well, and honestly, it was a great buy for us. Since our youngest was born in September (and the stroller was purchased for her) we've taken her out everywhere in it. And, it doubles as a bassinet when we stay overnight with the inlaws. She'll be ready for the actual seat in a couple months, and I'm anticipating arguments over who gets to ride in it with my 4 yr old, who claimed it as hers before the baby arrived. We did not get a Maxi Cosi car seat, as we already had a Graco Snugride that we liked. Turns out this was a good thing anyway, as the baby HATES being in her car seat, but loves sleeping in the Dreami Cot bassinet.

I've never gotten so many compliments on a stroller before in my life- someone is always stopping to ask us about it.

Cons: I couldn't give it 5 stars, though I would have liked to give it 4.5.

Folding it up can sometimes be a pain- it's just a little tough to get everything pushed just right (it unfolds more easily than anything you've ever seen before, though). With that said, I've never had so much trouble that I thought it diminished the value of the stroller. Would be really nice to have a one-handed fold-up though, and this is definitely not even close.

I wish there was more storage space. The little storage bag that hangs underneath the stroller doesn't hold much at all. Also, it has no cup holders for parents. We solved that problem by buying one with a universal stroller attachment, but it would be nice to have one that came with it, for the price of the stroller. We'll also be buying some kind of storage bag to hang off it.

The wheelbase is perhaps a touch wider than I'd like. I've never found an aisle/store/sidewalk it didn't fit on, but it is definitely wider than some other strollers. I don't believe it's much, if any, wider than the Graco Quattro, however.

The storage bag is separate, and costs $169. I'd really like one for the plane ride to Disney, so the stroller doesn't get scuffed, but the price is so steep I may just find something else to wrap it in.

Overall, a great stroller, and I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone.

2.0 out of 5 stars Buy the UppsaBaby instead!, June 30, 2010

I bought this while I was still pregnant. I heard good things about it, but really didn't have much knowledge around strollers. Now that I have a 6 month old and several new mommy friends, I can tell you that I absolutely wouldn't buy this stroller!

Pros:
1. Big wheels- we live in an urban area and wanted to be sure that we could navigate through the city parks and sidewalks.
2. Seat that sits forwards, backwards, and reclines in a few positions. It was nice while he was tiny and as he grows. He loves facing out, but when he falls asleep I can easily tilt him back to be fully reclined.
3. The memory foam seat. I wanted our kid to be comfy.
4. The telescopic handle for my tall husband.
5. the "auto" erect feature. When you flick over the clasp, the stroller 'pops' open.... most of the time!

PS. The uppa baby stroller has all of these same perks, plus none of the cons.

Cons:
1. Pathetic sun canopy. Doesn't really cover babies face. Had to buy an after-market shade and it's a pain.
2. The storage at the bottom of the stroller is useless. It's more like a shelf than a basket.
3. It's difficult to open and close. It's very stiff, even 6 months later.
4. The brakes do not work on hills!!
5. You can only use one brand of car seat- MaxiCosi. This car seat is a complete piece of junk. It was recalled TWICE in the last TWO years.

PS. The uppa baby stroller has all of these same perks, plus none of the cons.
For $[...] you can either buy this stroller or the UppaBaby! I highly recommend choosing something else. Even the BOB is better.

4.0 out of 5 stars I love it so far..., May 21, 2009
This review is from: Quinny Buzz Stroller-Juice (Baby Product)
Very nice stroller. It was shipped to me quickly and it is very modern and well done. The assembly took hardly no time, all pieces are easy to snap together. The unfolding of the stroller is great and allows you to do it while you are carrying your baby on the other hand. I love the color options and I will also buy the Quinny bassinet and the Maxi-Cosi car seat, which adapt to this stroller. My only complaint is that the travel case for this stroller (sold separate) is very expensive. I am not giving a 5 star because I have not used it quite enough yet to fully evaluate it. So far I love it.

1.0 out of 5 stars overpriced, under-comfortable, June 21, 2010
This review is from: Quinny Buzz Stroller-Juice (Baby Product)
I am on amazon shopping for another stroller because my Quinny Buzz stinks.

Pros:
(1) Pretty color
(2) 3-level hand bar for different height caregivers

(3) Compatible with maxi-cosi car seat so you can use the base with tiny babies (which the [...] folks tested -- so I got rid of the car seat quickly)

Cons:
(1) It it HEAVY!

(2) Front wheel is made of VERY SOFT material and worn out after only 6 months of light use

(3) Basket on the bottom picks up 'junk' that you accidentally step on quite easily

(4) Despite the huge back wheels, the design is such that you get very, very stuck on rough terrain very easily

(5) The recline doesn't really work

(6) It is HUGE! It takes up about 60% of available trunk space in an 'average' sized sedan

(7) It is lop-sided. One side of the stroller has always been a bit higher than the other

Why did I spend so much $$$ on this stinky product?
