5.0 out of 5 stars Flat repair...
We were initially apprehensive about getting this stroller since some people seemed to be having problems with flat tires. Just keep the tires properly inflated and you should never have any flats (5 months and counting so far on bumpy city sidewalks without problems). You can also get replacement inner tubes at REI for $4 - you want the Novara Schrader Tube - 12 x 1.75...

I owned the Maxi Cosi infant seat as well as the 2008 version of the Quinny Buzz 3 in Juice. The car seat was atrocious. My daughter hated it so much, it was too deep and never locked in to place correctly. now we find out (now that she is in a new seat) that the Maxi Cosi base has been recalled but my manufactur date is three weeks after the "certain recalled" models...

5.0 out of 5 stars The best looking and working stroller!, May 11, 2010
We bought this stroller after a great deal of research in July 2008.
We have had this unique looking stroller for about 2 years now, and I think it deserves a great review.
Whenever we use our stroller we get great comments from people (both in Canada, USA and even Europe). I have been stopped and asked by people where I got this stroller from.
We had the bassinet for the first 6 months and then our daughter graduated to the big kids stroller (i.e. the seat).
We have a Maclaren stroller as well but our daughter does not like that because she is used to the very comfortable seat of her quinny stroller.
She loves sitting and sleeping in her stroller. The stroller also does not shake much and is comfortable even in bumpy roads.
We have gone to so many places with this great stroller now and it still looks great.

First thing that comes to mind when looking at the stroller is that its storage area is small.
Let me tell you that I can carry so many things in this small but flat area. Since storage area is flat and does not have covered walls, I can put as many things as I want in it without worrying about their shapes and sizes. I can easily put 4 jugs of milk (1 gallon each) under the stroller. If it was any bigger, I could not carry my daughter and the stuff I bought together.

The seat is not washable but can be cleaned very easily using a wet cloth and a cleaning spray ( I use fantastik on a piece of cloth and it works great).

The fact that it has a telescopic handle is a great deal for us ( I am 5'2" and my hubby is 6'4" and we both can push the stroller comfortably without bending or hurting our backs).

The sunshade is great; it covers baby's face completely. You can also adjust it by pulling the shade upward.
The shade comes off easily and you can put it back in 1 sec with no problem.

You can take the wheels off to put the stroller in any size trunk.
It is very important at the airport when you want to put the stroller for X-ray on the belt.

The only problem we have encountered is that the front wheel does not turn well after we went to the sandy beaches with our stroller.
The customer service was superb and they sent us a new wheel without even asking for our receipts (the only thing they asked was the stroller product number).

If we have another child, I will buy another quinny stroller for him/her.
I totally recommend this stroller to any one.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the ride!!, May 10, 2009

We absolutely adore our Quinny Buzz! It is so versatile - the big back wheels make it smooth sailing over bumpy sidewalks, grass, even bricks - and you can adjust the seat to face you or face the world, recline or sit up. Baby is ALWAYS comfortable. We have had several different strollers - the BOB, which my daughter hated, the Graco, which I hated, the Quinny Buzz, and now we've purchased the Quinny Zapp, too, because we were so happy with the Buzz. It's so sturdy, and it looks great, too. It's got style, but it's NOT a Bugaboo, which is nice! We have ordered the Dreami bassinet for our next child - this is the stroller I fell in love with and will keep from child to child.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS STROLLER!, February 19, 2009
If u buy this stroller in a complete set with the bassinet it'll actually cost u more or less the same with the Bug Frog.
I was tempted to buy the Frog at first.. but after thinking and researching and testing and comparing between the new Buzz and the Frog, the Buzz won!
This stroller is very easy to steer, easy to fold! just one push and whoosh.. it goes down.. love the automatic lock that comes in the newer version of Buzz!
And its even easier to unfold, just one nudge with your finger or feet and whoosh... its ready to use.. (u dont have to take the seat off when folding the stroller which is a plus.. at least for me..)
And the look... this stroller is sooo pretty!! Compare it with the Bug Frog.. i like my Buzz A LOT more!!

This review is from: Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 3 Wheel, Stroller, Black (Baby Product)
I owned the Maxi Cosi infant seat as well as the 2008 version of the Quinny Buzz 3 in Juice. The car seat was atrocious. My daughter hated it so much, it was too deep and never locked in to place correctly. now we find out (now that she is in a new seat) that the Maxi Cosi base has been recalled but my manufactur date is three weeks after the "certain recalled" models. That's crap! The representatives are all rude. The Buzz is useless. We ended up buying a BOB and giving our Quinny away because I could not sell it at all. The front wheel had so many problems and the chasis is so squeaky. I cannot believe I spent over $600 for this crap and get crap customer service as well.
Goodbye Dorel Juvenile Group. Juveniles you are!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller, November 11, 2009

This review is from: Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 3 Wheel, Stroller, Black (Baby Product)
I have to strongly disagree with the previous reviews. I purchased this stroller a year ago and I love it. I also purchased the maxi cosi car seat and my infant liked it so much that I purchased the maxi cosi convertible car seat after he out grew the infant seat. The stroller is excellent it rides very smooth and my son loves it. When we are out & about it reclines and he can take a nap laying flat. I don't have enough good things to say about it. I always get comments whenever we are out at how great looking it is. I decided to post a review because I recently had to contact customer service. I had a problem with the front wheel jamming so I looked on line and read these nasty reviews about customer service and got nervous. I sent an email via the company web-site and received a respone the next day with a phone number to call regarding returning my stroller. When I called the number I was told to purchase a box and fedex would come to my house and ship back the stroller to Quinny for free. I was told to call the phone number again 24 hours after the stroller was picked up and they would ship a brand new one. The stroller was picked up Friday and I placed a call to verify the stroller had shipped Monday mid-day. I received a BRAND NEW stroller on Wednesday. I was so HAPPY with the outcome and now my son is 1 years old and we have a brand new stroller. Couldn't be more happy with my purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some good things/ Some bad things., August 12, 2009
By
M. C. Moledor (Seattle, WA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought this stroller at >50% off - so I'm pretty happy with my purchase compared to other strollers I could have bought at that price. However, it is not perfect and there are definitely some cons.

PROS:
Seat faces forward and reverse - and it is easily interchanged.
The seat is comfortable for my child and she is very content to sit in it for a long ride.
It has a smooth ride and is great for walking on the bumpy sidewalks in my neighborhood.
The stroller is light.

CONS:
In any position other than fully upright, the sun shade is useless (The Protect-a-Bub Compact fixed this problem for us).
If you try to put the stroller in the car sideways, the damn thing pops open.

5.0 out of 5 stars love quinny buzz, December 10, 2010
I had to post a comment in response to peoples negative comments, because people need to understand that this stroller is made for people who walk everywhere such as in NYC, London or any other metropolitan area. It takes up space in the trunk, so if you are looking for small strollers go for the quinny zapp instead. Oh-and yes you can get a flat (the tires are real rubber--hence the reason why the stroller is smooth, perfect for jogging and taking into parks etc.). Do your research people first before purchasing this stroller. Also in response to someone's comment above the stroller opening up-YES! The Of course stroller pops open, you must pull the secure lock cord which locks the stroller. Read the instructions on the manual completely and you will understand all the features. This stroller has a lot of cool features which is what makes it great. If you want simplicity, then get a McLaren.
I bought the sky blue quinny buzz and dreami bassinet, and love it! The seat is comfy and reclines to so many positions, so does the foot rest. The handle extends (if you are tall-perfect). You have the ability to purchase all these great accessories, such as the foot muff. I live in NY and it keeps the baby warm during winter. Not to mention I get tons of complements-very trendy and you have many colors to choose from (unlike the boogaboo-basic colors).

1.0 out of 5 stars I wanted to love it., April 5, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I really wanted to love this stroller, but it's just terrible.
I wanted to use a sturdy and versable stroller for my new baby and thought this would be it. I was so wrong and have had nothing but problems. My first Quinny was broken right out of the box and the seat wouldn't attach to the frame. The second one has had constant flat tires and the seat attachements have broken again.
My Quinnies have been difficult to use, difficult to collapse and totally unreliable. I will be returning it again and buying something different and hopefully better.
Do not waste your money.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works for me, March 6, 2010
As a mom, I realize the need for a good stroller.
The benefits of this stroller are:
1. Your baby can face you or look outward. 2. It fits the Maxi-Cosi Mico, which we bought. 3. The colors are very vivid and fresh. 4. The seat feels very soft and comfortable. 5. It comes with a net and waterproof shield. 6. The handle is adjustable, perfect for mommy or daddy. 6. The sun visor is a pretty good size and adjustable.
7. It is very easy to open and close (I guess it can be a hassle, but once you're used to it...)
The things that really bother me about this stroller:
1. There is very little room in the undercarriage, you may have to carry your diaper bag or anything for that matter; it's basically useless. 2. It is sometimes too wide to fit into spaces. 3. Cup holder is an additional $20. 4. It is on the heavier side.
All in all this is a very chic stroller, but it may not be the best choice for all situations. That being said, I only gave it 3 stars because after spending so much on this I also had to go out and buy an umbrella stroller for trips to the mall...
