Purchased 12/09 and worked OK for 8 months. The problem arose when it stopped working - wouldn't read anything but Zeros. I inquired of both Igaging and Quint about warranty and/or repair and got nothing but silence for my trouble. Guess it's a throwaway, and I'm headed to Sears to get one with a guarantee.

Remember, if you are looking for REAL digital level...this is not the one!
The real thing is made by Mitutoyo and costs in excess of $250.00.
This one works O.K. if you want do framing, countertops, toilets etc.
I bought mine for automotive bodywork...what a mistake!
Unit made in China.

The magnets on the level fell out during the first use. The level is absolute garbage. There seems to be a challenge to get a refund as well. Absolute mistake to buy this item.

I bought 2 of these levels in Sept 2011, one for a friend. They were shipped to Australia and arrived in about 7 days via USPS - quicker than I expected. Works well and is accurate as far as I can tell. It's probably not robust enough to be trade quality, so will need to be cared for, but I'm only a home handyman, and look after my gear.
My mate wanted a digital level to measure % slope on golf greens - part of the Aim Point approach to reading golf greens. It's giving him all the right information and he's holing putts like you wouldn't believe!!

This level is very easy to use and gives the same readings repeatedly. I don't use the laser feature on it though.

We bought one for my brother and when it came my husband was way to excited took it out of the box and put the batteries right in when he gave it to my brother for a gift (whom has his own eavestrophing company) the item was ready to go evertyone had a good laugh at the story. I then bought one for my husband and when it came in the mail he ripped that package open and is 'making up' project just to use it. in his words "its the coolest tool ever!" I recomend it for everyone!!!
