This is an older book, but helps us remember what a fabulous writer Dunne was; he breaks your heart every time. He is never better than when he is talking about people he loves and here he is outstanding. It was relevant for me because of his take on how autism, little heard of and poorly understood at the time, affected his closest friends. He gave us a unique perspective on the time and the disability which helps with understanding the phenomenon it is now.
