I have had the privilege of seeing Curtis Salgado and Terry Robb perform live many times and have NEVER been disappointed. THese gentlemen are top notch musicians and the proof is in the CD. Terry Robb is a brillant guitarist and Curtis Salgado is without question the best blues vocalist I have ever heard. In short, If you enjoy music stripped down to it's purest form...accoustic...this CD is a must.

Raw backstreet Blues that send a chill down your spine!,

Imagine some good friends getting together at the neighborhood watering hole and the mood strikes them and those present to start playing and unleashing deep feelings right then and there without prior anouncement; spontaneous creativity is the result! This is what you have here and what art is all about, on the spot playing for feel not looks! This is hard to achieve on disk but the people involved on this project captured the moment that can be enjoyed over and over!

13 years later and I'm still listening to it.,

I've never been inspired to write a review before, but seeing the cover art while surfing i knew i had to testify. Barely out of highschool I attended one of their shows in my hometown by pure luck. I had never heard of those guys before but never forgot them once they blew the roof off the place like I have still never seen from such a small production. I was broke and at the time NEVER spent my money on CD's from local bands but I couldn't help myself. 13 years later I am STILL loving the whole album. If I hadn't spent the money I would have cheated myself out of one of my favorite all time albums. "Feeling Good" still gives me the chills sometimes. 2 absolute masters of their craft getting together to lay down something truly special. High quality sound production with the feel of being in the room with them. Over the years all my friends can't help but tap and bop when they come on at a party. Very few albums have the staying power of this collection of genius. Don't deprive yourself, you deserve it.

The first time I heard this album I wet my pants. The second time I heard this album I wet my pants. This contains some of the best and most soulfully produced modern blues I have heard.
