4.0 out of 5 stars Good advice about using article marketing
While this book doesn't have a lot of content, what is include is a good primer for someone completely new to Internet marketing. I bought this book for my wife. She wanted to start an online store selling dog toys. She had no idea how to start driving traffic to the site. I thought a book like this could help her start to get an idea of the many ways you can bring...

1.0 out of 5 stars workbook means blank pages
Yeah, this is a workbook. [...] I have now bought a book that has several pages like this: "Look back and reflect upon all the ideas, realizations and other thoughts that came to mind when you were answering the questions in this chapter [on all those earlier pages that had lines on them]. Write down any afterthoughts or any other insights that come to mind." [23 blank...

Yeah, this is a workbook. Write down any afterthoughts or any other insights that come to mind." [23 blank lines fill the rest of the page]

Each chapter starts off with a page or a page-and-a-half of "content." Then you get four or five pages of fill-in-the-lines. Then you get a page with the title of the next chapter centered on it. Then you get the page or page-and-a-half of "content," followed by four or five pages of fill-in-the-lines. Chapter title page. Page of content (we're talkin' content like "Follow the two rules for online success: 1. Get started. 2. Don't quit.") Pages of lines. Title page. Content. Pages of lines. Title page...you get the idea. [..]

4.0 out of 5 stars Good advice about using article marketing, October 29, 2009
While this book doesn't have a lot of content, what is include is a good primer for someone completely new to Internet marketing. I bought this book for my wife. She wanted to start an online store selling dog toys. She had no idea how to start driving traffic to the site. I thought a book like this could help her start to get an idea of the many ways you can bring people to a site. After reading the book, she was most excited about the chapter on article marketing and took the advice given and used this method to start selling her dog toys.

Since then, she has sought out more advanced information about doing article marketing, but I have to give this book 4 stars for opening her up to marketing ideas in a way that wasn't overwhelming to understand.

4.0 out of 5 stars helpful for clarity, July 17, 2009
Part of the problem with working online is having too many options. You don't know where to start.

This book helped me to get focus on what I was doing and come up with a plan. If you are looking for clarity on what you should concentrate on, this is a good book. It works as a good supplement to other "make money online" books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helps get the ideas flowing, September 10, 2009
A bit of background: For the past year, I've been spending hours (and a fair amount of money) learning about the best ways to make money online. There are so many approaches that it makes my head spin sometimes. Do you go with what has the potential to meka a lot of money fast or do you go with something you love doing and want to do long-term? While this book doesn't go into great detail about the specific ways to make money, it does the important questions you need to ask yourself to get clear about what your plan is going to be.

I guess that's what I liked about it the most. When you hear how people are making thousands of dollars a day and it seems so easy, you stop thinking of IM as a business and just want to find an easy way to make money. This book brings you back to the reality that this is a business and, with good planning, can be something you can do for years.
