Well written and well acted.

It is too bad they couldn't make it work, it's like they are not able to forget the camera is there and just be funny for real.

This is a very different and unique concept for comedy which it makes it that much more funny and potentially interesting.

We watched the entire season in one day; we were incapable of stopping. It took exactly three seconds to be hooked from the opening credits where it says "meeting the president" and shows him being tazered mercilessly... perfect. Although, at times it can be reasonably depressing, Forrest's cheery attitude and devotion to his noble work of reviewing life keeps the show lighter. You are always pulling for Forrest. Andrew Daly plays a perfect Forrest, an earnest and genuinely good dude that has to force himself to destroy his family, dabble in cocaine addiction, use racial slurs, rob the elderly and make a sex tape all for the greater good of mankind. There was one episode (pancakes, divorce, pancakes) that I can only refer to as the single best television 20 minutes I've ever seen. I still laugh about one particular line from that episode audibly and profusely while doing innocuous daily activities. I have been rabidly recommending this show to anyone who will listen, and while I am admittedly not good at reviewing things, after the shrill, uncontrollable, spasm-inducing laughter this show bestowed upon me, I can't help but want to give it two public thumbs up.

Really enjoyed the show. It is the sort of ridiculous humor that I find very entertaining. Definitely not a show for everyone though. The show reminds me of Nathan For You, another Comedy Central show. If you liked that show or any Tim and Eric shows you will probably like this one too, as it was made by the same production company.

Andrew Daly, Americas funniest deadpan comic since Stephen Wright, takes the premise from the original Australian short sketch show (Review with Miles Barlow) of a man whose job it is to review life experiences, and adds the twist of infusing it with a wit and charm that is uniquely his own. I look forward to more episodes.

It's interesting to see Andrew Daly as the star of this new show, and I like where it's been and where it could go. Keep up the energy, layered jokes and cocaine addiction and you've got me.

No spoilers in this review.
The unexpected thing about this series is the full-season plot arc. The show is entertaining enough episode to episode, but they have made it so the ideal way to view the season is to binge view.

Andy Daly can carry this show better than you would expect, but even if he couldn't, the supporting cast and characters are all fantastic. There are no wasted characters - everyone contributed.

This show is perfectly entertaining. If you're expecting to laugh out loud every episode, you won't.... But that doesn't mean you shouldn't check out this show.
4 stars.

This show is really quite good, but it is also really difficult to watch at times. This is definitely on the hard to watch, embarassing, and disturbing end of comedy. It is also quite visceral and well thought out. If you took Curb Your Enthusiam and mixed it with Hard Jobs, then sprinkled in some Intervention and Hidden Camera stuff, you pretty much end up with this. Considering how big reviewing is now, the show is quite topical, but definitely be prepared to see some hard to watch scenarios.
