Kathy Etling, who writes cowboy poetry under the name K. T. Etling, is a charter member of the Missouri Cowboy Poets Association. Her poetry has been appeared in publications dedicated to cowboys and the Old West, including American Cowboy and Neighs & Whinnies. She is also the author of five books about the outdoors, including the best-selling Cougar Attacks: Encounters of the Worst Kind. She currently resides in Missouri, where she enjoys time spent with her horses and on her family's farm.
