This book is great! So many quotes in one place, and good ones too. It's so convenient to have them all at my fingertips whenever I need a quote for any reason - paper, presentation, or just personal inspiration. Definitely worth it - for yourself or a gift. Think teacher, coach, boss gifts for the holidays or the end of the year...I'm getting a few more copies so I have them around for this kind of stuff.

Incredible resource for writer and teachers!, September 19, 2009

I'm really into this book. I bought it because I believe these clever people have been able to summarize in one sentence what takes me a paragraph.
I don't know how so many people have been able to say so many clever things through the ages - this book goes waaaay back! I'm just glad they did.
So how am I using these quotes?
Four ways:
- To inspire my adult children. OK, you still think Mom is all wet, will you listen to Abraham Lincoln or, better yet, Buddha? Maybe I'll start sending Mom's quote of the day. Lucky them.
- To inspire my writing. Quotes enable me to "channel" the wisdom of great thought leaders, wisdom I don't possess. So obviously I'm going to use their words to help my readers understand my message.
- In business meetings. Don't laugh. It's tough to influence others in a business setting. It's nice to be able to bring "great minds" into the conversation.
- To re-energize me. I write a blog on re-inventing your life. Not only do I need to stay inspired, I need to be on top of my game to create inspiration. Sometimes I need a little "talking to" to do that.
Ok, five ways:
- Sometimes, I like to just open this book anywhere and imagine that person on that page is speaking directly to me, something I need to hear. A whole level above getting my daily horoscope.
Six, and I swear that's all:
- I'll probably "tweet" some of my favorites with a nod to the author and of course, Mr. Aristotle, and Mr. Rousseau, Mr. Adams, Ms. Alcott...

Quote Junkie's third edition of the mega series consists of about 1500 quotes collected from the overall series of the Quote Junkie. The quotes for this edition are selected such that it focuses on the day to day life occurrences we come across in our life and what are the ways we should act in for those situations to come up better in our life. The quotes present in this book will definitely bring happiness in your life if you try to bring those life lessons said in the book in to existence. Books are superb way of relaxing your mind in this faster running world. Apart from relaxing you can also gain some wealthy and valuable points said in the book.
Quote Junkie is one such a book which will relax your mind and also enrich your knowledge with the everlasting quotes said in it. The quotes present in this book tell you how to lead a happy life by overcoming the problems that you usually face in your day to day life. Apart from these it has also got a collection of the funny quotes. Those funny quotes will make you laughter and forget about all the sorrows that you have got. Those funny quotes are not just for laughing, it also teaches some valuable points out of it. The greatest personality's have written these quotes out from their heart.
So it is touching to read those quotes and understand what they have tried to say from it. If you share the quotes present in this books with your relatives and friends they can also taste the sweetness of this book even without reading it.
