An interesting collection of quotes and sayings. I was not familiar with many of them, but for those who enjoy reading and using quotes, this book is truly an asset, able to be used in reading for personal pleasure and enjoyment as well as scholarly works. Well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book May 14, 2010
By C14
Format:Kindle Edition
This book has a fantastic arrangement of thought provoking quotes that are very well organized. The author has taken quotes from a vast number of famous individuals and categorized them by the content of the quote (eg. Lies, Opportunity, Philosophy, Etc). This makes it very useful for finding quotes to use in papers, but remains enjoyable for casual reading as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have!! October 13, 2010
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I am not a well spoken person, so I use quotes from other intelligent, well spoken people to bring my points across. Mr. Fullmer's book makes it incredibly easy to find quotes to use to help inspire those around me, and in discussions I have with others. Many of the quotes I've never even know were said by the individuals who said them. Every quote is amazing. This book is a must have for all walks of life. Perfect for birthday's, holiday gifts, and any special occasion really.

3.0 out of 5 stars not good for kindle June 8, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Somethings you just need to buy in book form and this is one of them. It's hard to navigate it with my Kindle it would be easier to search a table of contents and flip to what you want to read. Content of the book is good but the Kindle format isn't.

Format:Paperback
I have quite enjoyed reading through a page or two of these quotes on occasion. It's nice having knowledge of various quotes that I can plug into a conversation here and there. It makes me look smart because I am, in fact, more knowledgeable now.

The arrangement of quotes is very simplified. They are alphabetically arranged by subject. E.g. Courage, Jealousy, Praise.
In addition, they are indexed by author in the back. You can always find the quotes you want with ease.

Not a bad buy. I would recommend.
