Truly an eye opener,
By A Customer
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, And Islam (Paperback)
You will notice that reviews on this book are at both extremes. Either you see the truth in it or you condem it with no really good reason. I personally don't believe that Rashad is a prophet as some make him out to be - but he has proven that the Hadiths and the current Islamic belief system needs to be re-looked at seriously if the Muslim community is ever to have a chance in this life in the hereafter. Today we are prouder to be called a Shafiee, Hanafi etc than a Muslim. Never in the Prophet's lifetime did he ever intend for the 4 schools of thought to have such an influence of how we live as Muslims. Historically, it was all politically motivated depending on the ruler of the day. Having been educated in a Catholic School for a good 10 years (but retaining my Islamic faith) I urge all Muslims to put their belief in the Hadiths to the same test that we put our Christian brothers to - i.e. the validity of the Bible, the authoring & authorization of it by persons other than Jesus or God. Some basic questions would be 1) WHO authorized the collection of the Hadiths (certainly not Muhammad or the 4 Caliphs) 2) The accuracy of Hadiths has nothing to do with the character of the trasnmitters no matter how numerous or how popular 3) The Hadith cannot possibly be compared to the Quran ( the work of God) and therefore used as tool to interpret it. 4) Any human created law is subject to continuous scrutiny , objection and interpretation. Now when you look for Quranic verses that support the Hadiths , please do not take it out of context - such as the verse about "Whatever the prophet gives you - take it...." which was a reference NOT to his sunnah or hadith but booty gained in battle.

Wake-Up Call,
By Azhar (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, and Islam (Paperback)
Islam has a bad name through out the world. This book explains why. The vast majority of the "muslims" have discarded the Quran in favor of books (hadith) written by humans 250+ years after the revelation of the Quran and the death of the prophet. Dr. Khalifa demonstrates in this book that every religious practice by the vast majority of the "muslims" is in direct violation of the Quran. The citizens in the muslim world today have the least freedom and have the most opression. This is contrary to the Quran which proclaims freedom as God's greatest gift to humans. Dr Khalifa demonstrates from the Quran that the religion of Islam has only one source of religious law - spelled out in the words of the Quran. I would recommend this book to anyone claiming to be a muslim and as the Quran advises in 17:36, verify what Dr Khalifa states from the Quran.

One of the GREATEST ISLAMIC books in our time,
By A Customer
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, and Islam (Paperback)
This book is so shocking to many traditional Muslims they cannot stand the truth that is coming out of it. For the first time in over 1400 years, a religious leader can stand for the truth and prove beyond doubt the corruption of Hadiths books that led to the corruption of traditional Islam as we know it today. This is why you see the negative reviews of this book. These reviews come from those who could not stand the light or see the truth given to the world, exposing their grave mistakes in practicing the wrong religion when they thought they are correct. Every issue discussed in this book is supported by Quranic verses, not by the author's own opinion or the opinion of a group of scholars. From the need to obey the prophet Muhammed to the actual mission of our beloved prophet. From the idolization of the prophet by today's traditional Muslims to the mathematical proof that Quran is the true word of God. From the claims of the prophet Muhammed's future telling to the false claims that he will intercede on behalf of the criminals and guilty among the Muslims. The whole book may take you about 90 to 120 minutes to read, but they may be the most important minutes in your life. You may see your TRUE Islam for the very first time, PURE, CLEAN AND SHINING.ENJOY.

A book with GOOD news and bad news,
By "best_call_islam" (Orlando, Florida, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, and Islam (Paperback)
Excellent book with good news and bad news. This is an excellent book that stimulates the mind into many challenging situations that were accepted by the majority as religiously correct but proved by the author using the Quran alone to be religiously wrong. That is why you see the contradictory evaluation of this book between the one star and the best, five stars. It is GOOD news to the free thinkers and bad news for the others who cannot get themselves to see refreshing and new knowledge. The author boldly challenges the traditionalists into the holiest of their beliefs and prove them wrong using the word of God in the Quran. The author paid his life as a price to upholding the truth of the Quran despite the attacks by those who cannot accept that truth. Like many before him who challenged the establishment, he was accused of being crazy or out of his mind as you can see in some of the reviews here. Traditionalists feel the threat, a book like this one, is doing to the intelligent, well educated, free thinkers who do not accept a single religious teaching without confirmation from the Quran. You will see these traditionalists here and everywhere, there is a glimpse of truth, attacking and accusing, trying their best to distort the image of many authors and their books. We, the readers, are the final judges. Read it for yourself. The book is made of several chapters that start by the teachings of the Quran about obeying the messenger and how this simple command has been abused. It then goes into what the Quran teaches about itself, about God, about other prophets like Abraham, about supporting the messenger and ends by a brief presentation of the Mathematical miracle of the Quran. The book is written and organized in a simple way that makes its reading a joy and its contents a reference for those seeking a quick aid in answering many of the questions in the Muslim daily life. This book is a prize for those who appreciate good books and stimulating reading materials.

The Quran is complete and fully detailed,
By Throngs (california, usa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, and Islam (Paperback)
The writer of this book is giving the world a wake-up call and challenging the so-called muslims to accept that the Quran is all we need for our salvation and as God Almighty says in the Quran [6:113-117] "This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions. Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed? Those who recieved the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt. The word of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient. If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of God. They follow only conjecture; they only guess. Your Lord is fully aware of those who stray off His path, and He is fully aware of those who are guided." It is noteworthy to remention that God is the only source of law, and therefore, upholding any other source beside the Quran is a sign of disbelief.

Forget following everyone else,
By Hussain (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, And Islam (Paperback)
this is an important book on many levels. as a muslim and avid student of Islam, i have long thought and seen the inconsistencies within the Hadiths. I have found many hadiths which contradict eachother..Then when i got this book, it was all laid out with numerous references. The problem with religous people alot of the time, is they follow what they have been taught and see any deviation from that as a great sin. they seem to forget that Muhammad and Jesus and every prophet of the Qu'ran, Bible or Torah were rebels who refused to follow the others just because everyone else did. This is the essence of true Islam. seeking out the truth. Another good book is "a brief history of Islam" which goes further to explaining how and when and essentially why the hadith's were introduced as acceptable within mainstream Islam. They were for political reasons---the Hadiths did not exist during Muhammad's lifetime. They were not a part of the religion revealed by him--so any muslim who argues it is integral to Islam, if practicing something different than Muhammad did. There is no way around that. a must read, for people who are seeking the truth, corroborated by references in the Qu'ran itself.

YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK,
By Abib (Somalia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, And Islam (Paperback)
This small book explains the reasons why the so called Muslims of today are nothing but a satanic cult. Why are they defeated in every war? Why do they oppress their people? Why do they not practice freedom of religion? Or any freedom at all? Why are they the most backward, the most undeveloped, and the worst nations on this earth? Read this Quranic summary book, and you will find out why.

A Good Book for those who are seeking the Truth.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Quran, Hadith, and Islam (Paperback)
This book is a real eye opener as to what hadith and suna really is all about. It defines the role of the Profit Mohammad Quranically. It also proves why majority of so called "Muslim" people have totally ignored the Quran and have chose the hadith and suna as their religious quidance. Please see Sura 39 Verse 45 and Sura 17 Verse 46.

Excellent Eye Opener!,

This review is from: Quran, Hadith, And Islam (Paperback)
This is the best gift a person can give to any Sunnis or Shias to open their eyes to the crime of idolworship (shirk) that they have perpetrated against God without knowing they have done so.
The author is a brave and honest man who paid with his life the price of spreading the message of God Alone and honoring the name of the Almighty. As for those who speak out against the call back to God Alone, I can only say the same that Abraham said to his people centuries ago: "And how can I possibly fear what you have set up; yet you do not fear that you have set up partners with God, for which He has not sent down to you any authority! So which of our two groups is more worthy of security if you know?" (Quran 6:81) |
