It has 2 RGB inputs which carry the component signal. All you need is a RGB to component cable, you can get them on Amazon for like 4 bucks. Most DVD players have component out. By the way Component is capable of carring a full HD signal in analog format, you won't notice any difference in picture quality verses HDMI. RGB does not carry any audio signal. So you would have to hook up audio seperately.
